  1. The thing is, I wouldn't be opposed to considering myself bisexual, though I'm just not sure I could have those feelings for another guy again. I've never been given another chance at that. Thank you
  2. To an extent possibly, but I don't see men on the street and feel attracted to them in any way. I can recognize a man for being attractive, but do I feel any certain way about them? No. I can't say that after getting to know a man the way I knew the friend I talked about previously, that I wouldn't feel a certain way for him. I can't say either that I would reject that relationship ever turning sexual. I have a hard time ever seeing it happen though, as I don't see giving myself that chance. The way I am attracted to woman is completely different. It's initially a sexual attraction, that later given the chance might turn emotional. I don't know where that puts me I guess. I don't see myself seeking out homosexual relationships so I see that as putting me in the straight category.
  3. It's been less than 3 years but it seems like a lifetime ago. A completely different part of my life.
  4. My best friend and I in high school were inseparable. We had a very close relationship and experimented in junior high. We both enjoyed it, and we kept it up for a year or so. After he started dating a girl, the experimenting ended. It didn't take long for me to find a girlfriend myself, and once our relationship became serious and finally turned sexual, I knew that I was straight. He was my first "love" though, and I was still attracted to him, more on an emotional level than anything. Our girlfriends even made fun of the way we acted around each other. Unfortunately, he passed away in a car accident the summer after we graduated. This may sound dumb, but I'm sorry I never told him I loved him when he was alive. I still think about him.
  5. That is exactly where it was. I was in the left lane and someone who was just merging off of 30 onto 35 going south darted all the way over to the far left lane without paying any attention. Since I was right next to him I just took it into the ditch rather than hitting him.
  6. I thought that maybe I was out of line this morning, but after I went up to Ames to meet someone for lunch and was forced into the ditch by someone not paying attention to who was in the lane next to them, I realize I probably wasn't. You want to talk about old people? Take a visit to North Dakota.
  7. ...I'm not saying that you drive like an idiot, but everyone else in this state does. On the way down here yesterday I learned that most Iowans answer to a little ice on the interstate is to slam on thier brakes. Hopefully the ones who hit the ditch as a result learned a leason, but I doubt it. In downtown Des Moines last night, I was almost hit by three different vehicles. I'm going to give Des Moines the benefit of the doubt there since it was probably the alcohol is everyone's system down there that was doing the driving, but it didn't help to sway me to the side of the Iowans. Hope this doesn't affend anyone, Iowa is a nice state, just something I noticed. What do you natives think?
  8. Pretty heavy winter here in Eastern ND though. We've had at least a foot of snow on the ground at all times since middle of December. Quite a few -30 degree nights and a couple of weeks where it hardly got above zero...we are starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel though. I was up in north eastern ND this weekend and they have even more. Over 2 feet easily and they got more today. Even all the fields are covered completely which rarely happens.
  9. Holy hell that Commodore would be a death trap in a collision. Its like it gave up as soon as it hit the wall.
  10. Buick: a lot of boring grandma mobiles, but the nicest two would be a 07 Lucerne CXS and an Enclave recently. Saab: a early 2000s 9-3 and a 9-7x...I would buy a 9-7 in a second if I were in the market for that kind of SUV. Saturn: a bunch of econoboxes, but I have test driven a Aura XR and XE3.5 as well as an OUTLOOK when my mom was looking for something to replace her Trailblazer. Pontiac: most all of the FWDs, but I did get to drive an 05 GTO for a day, took a Solstice GXP for a test drive at the local dealer, and my uncle owns a 70 Firebird that I have driven countless times. Hummer: my cousin owns an H2. I would buy one if I got a good deal. GMC: A few Yukons, test drove an Acadia, and quite a few Sierras over the years, including an 07 Sierra crew cab that my uncle owns, nice truck. Cadillac: Good family friend has owned every generation Escalade, in fact they have two 07s right now, black and silver, ridiculous. Drove a 05 CTS, almost let the dealer let me take a used CTSV they had for a test drive, but he new I wasn't serious so I never got to. My grandpa has an STS AWD as well. Beautiful car if you ask me. Cheverolet: Way too many to even talk about, countless different Silvies, and own an Impala and Suburban. Highlight would have to be the 06 Corvette I got to drive in a parade, and then took for a drive afterward. I have all of the current GM Brands covered. Its easy to do when you grow up in a mainly GM community and GM family. Its just easy to get GMs serviced in ND. There is a dealer anywhere you go, so I get a chance to see a lot of GM vehicles.
  11. Hey now you guys don't get all hot and heavy when I don't post for a month or two . Anyway, I find it odd that he wouldn't leave some kind of a post saying he won't be around considering how involved in the site he was. You could kind of tell that this was coming though...he wasn't around too much up until the point he left and the amount of updating on the site shows that. I hope he is fine and I would bet that he is. Life takes over sometimes. He'll be back someday.
  12. I'm not going to tell you that rock, hip hop, punk, or rap doesn't include a lot of talented individuals, but anyone who says that there aren't a lot of talented singer/songwriters in country music is naive.
  13. The only thing about this is that around, like in a lot of places I would assume, Cadillac dealers and not stand alone and have no reason to add a Hummer or Saab dealer. Any of the Cadillac dealers I know of within 4 hours of Fargo are lumped in with a Superdealer that basically has every GM brand under one roof or are lumped together with a Chevy dealer or a PBG dealer.
  14. At Rydell in Grand Forks, ND they sell Chevy Cadillac Pontiac Buick GMC and Saturn. They were supposed to het a Hummer dealer but it didn't go through since there is already one in Fargo and Grand Forks is less than half the size. I would love to see them add Saab up there. As far as I know, there isn't a Saab dealer in ND which would make Minneapolis the closest. Consolidating these dealerships makes good sense to me. Hummer and Cadillac appeal to the same buyers in a few cases and if Saab is going to start getting better product with the 9-4 and the re-done 9-5 and 9-3, I think they could fit on the same lot as Cadillac. I think Saab would look good in a classy Cadillac showroom as well.
  15. Why do I only see clockwise then?
  16. I thought I was the only one that needed noise to fall asleep....except i rarely fall asleep to music. It's usually talk AM radio, but that is the only time I listen to AM. My mind races unless I have something to listen to.
  17. Actually it is. I'm a big Format fan. I like almost anything they do.
  18. Interesting thread...I wish I could join in, but the Video I used before I got my Touch had a glitch where it would turn on Keith Urban randomly. So my entire Top 25 list is Keith, minus one song by "the Format." I've never done anything about it, so Keith dominates my top 25.
  19. Well I am a big fan of a few that a lot of people watch, like House MD, The Office, Family Guy, Mythbusters, and Entourage I started watching the Sarah Conner Chronicles. I like it a lot for the suspense. I watch 30 Rock. I don't know that a lot of others do as I think it is just starting to catch on. Tina Fey is hilarious and strangely attractive. I still watch Survivor religiously (16th season starts again this Thursday), but I don't know that a ton of others do anymore. Pushing Daisies is a strange, but entertaining show. Also, Life is as well. It is like most other crime shows except the characters are much more engaging if you ask me. They way he acts is very comparable to Dr. House.
  20. I couldn't beleive it, and I couldn't be happier...I hate the New England Cheaters.
  21. We got the same system earlier this week.....hardly any snow out of it but we got all of the -25 to -30F temps and -50 to -60F wind chills.
  22. Holy Cow....hasn't gotten that cold around here yet. It's got down to about -20F which is about -30C if I am doing my math right. There is a BIG difference between -30C and -46C though. I feel for you though. I know what it is like to be out in those kind of temps. Haven't felt them for almost a year but they are hard to forget. Literally takes your breath away when you step outside. Last January when it was about -45F (close to the same temp as you are at now i think) one night outside I did an experiment. If you take a cup of almost boiling water and throw it up in the air, it will completely steam away before it hits the ground. Give it a try, the steam looks pretty damn cool as well, almost like fireworks. Also at that temp, if you spit, it will freeze before it hits the pavement.
  23. ....and I thought being 1500 something on the waiting list the UND Sioux hockey tickets was bad.
  24. Glad you are still here with us KC...heal up.
