I know of another person that doesn't like this new front nose. The common complaint: it makes the nose look droopy... I don't see that at all... From this angle...this looks HOT to me!!! In my line of work...we say...we cant please everyone.

indiana Indiana Slaps new fee on EV's.

@dfelt@ccap41 Somebody will always try to beat the system...that is soooo true! EXACTLY...that is why in turn, a recorded GPS system will eventually replace the honour system way of someone recording only the miles. And, if I was a politician, Id be a shrewd politician and I woulkd just go the GPS way right off the bat... Eliminates cheating from the get go and saves money as the GPS downloads IMMEDIATELY the EXACTITUDE of mileage one does with a touch of a button without any other human intervention eliminating an unnecessary wage in the process. We already do taxes online... a 2016 model car is already plugged into the internet with GPS capabilities through google maps and other such shyte with our fetishes of 55 inch screens in our cars and our iPhones.... Its a no brainer... So...no thanx for me and the tax per mile. And...just to say...I live 6 miles away from my restaurant. 12 miles per day I travel. Not a whole lot. So it be an advantage for me... I value my privacy a tad more. -

Tax per mile? I dont like that idea. That means that somebody needs to know how many miles I do per year. That means somebody needs to track me and my movements. Although Im a fairly honest man and I have nothing to hide, the idea of having a tracker of some sort makes me cringe and cry for the yet another freedom lost. The freedom of nobody knowing what the hell it is that Im doing. I like to think that Im free to roam anywhere I damn well please without anybody recording my every move. Its bad enough that cities all over the world have CCTV cameras with business security cameras. I dont need yet another recording device in my so-call free life I live in the free 1st world... -
Im sure the wing is optional equipment , or at the very least have a wing delete option. The yellow (in reality body colour)air diffuser is no longer body colour but black. I actually do prefer it body colour, but lets be honest, having it body colour is boy racerish. It being black makes it more mature back there. OK, the front end. I dont see a difference in headlights, positioning of said headlights. To me, the look the same droopiness. OK, its enhanced by the triangular housing for the LED strips rather than the squareish housing that houses the vanity lights that want to pass off as fog lights... I dont personally have a problem with that triangle versus the square. Combine that with the narrower air vent and its less black plastic I have to see in the front. Its bad enough there is a ton of black plastic in the back. Like I said, I do prefer the air diffusers in body colour, but the car does look more mature although more plasticky this way... You know what wrecks today's car styling as opposed to how cars were detailed back in the day? Those skinny chromed bumpers. It separates the hood from the grille from the air vents on the bottom. In the back, it details and finishes off the over all presentation. The 2018 Mustang just highlights automotive styling problems of the modern era...

LOL at your description Frisky. As long as you are not taking about Pokemon, we good!!! EDIT: But thanx to you, I looked at the Mustang again, its yellow, and the only thing I can think about is Pikachu...

Barely anything has changed. It even looks a tad more cleaner than the previous model, in my opinion. I still prefer this over the Camaro. A base Alpha platform Camaro drove up to the drive-thru window the other day. Man-o-man I hate the looks of that car. Up close like that and it frightened me. A week ago or so, the same client with his all black Challenger R/T drove up to the drive-thru and I was like

Both of these cars were owned by my dad. I so wanted a Eurosport with the 2.8liter V6 in 1986 when we went together looking to replace the 1979 Impala that just died on us. He put his money down on one. My mother went with him to finalize the papers. My mom convinced him that a base $14 000 CDN 2.5liter Iron Duke, AM radio only Celebrity is a better buy than a fully equipped $18 000 Eurosport. At the end of the day, I miss that grey Iron Duke Celebrity. Had lots of fun in that car. I bought the 1994 4 door Pontiac Grand GT 3.1liter V6 with my dad when, as punishment, as I totaled his 1986 Celebrity. I even totaled my own 1989 Pontiac Firebird before the Celebrity a few months before. I went (and he) without a car that summer. Summer of '94. I had lots of fun that summer regardless. I rented many cars that summer. I was 21 with a credit card... As did my dad. He went to Boston several week-ends that summer. I invited many biatches in my home that summer. No need for hotels...but the money saved went to car rentals... Plus...thanks to my good buddies and my cousins. I was surrounded with froends with cars that year. Corrados, Integras. Golfs. To this day, I still love that boy racer styling of that Grand Am GT.

There is no heart-ache after this loss. Like in past losses since about a decade plus... It stings. Its disappointing, but there is no bitterness. Im pissed. Only at the 1st half, especially in the 1st quarter. Im happy. Im sad. Im giddy. Im deflated. There is no Jessica Simpson to blame it on, there are however shyty phoquing penalties to whine about. But what a comeback. But what a phoqing competitor Aaron is. He may be my favorite after Prescot (and Romo) What a catch. (3 phoquing seconds left!!!) Good game. See ya next year! Oh...Ill be watching the Super Bowl, nothing will change that.

I think this ideology comes from a time when people actually saved up their money and actually bought their cars cash. If they were missing a few bucks here and there (wink wink) they would get the car that much less off sticker... Buyer: "Car is 5000. I got 4000, that is all I got. Take it or leave it." Dealer: "Give me 4500 and the car is yours" Buyer: "Ill invade my kids piggy bank, Im sure Ill only find 200...so 4200. Dealer: "Deal!" When financing a car started becoming more popular and back then, it wasn't easy to get a loan, I guess the more money you had, the more chances the dealer did not want to let go of you, so the buyer had an upper hand, but today, lending people money is the norm... Lending people money is the ONLY way people buy cars today... I guess, the opposite is true today, the more you are willing to put down, the less the dealer is willing to cut you a deal...LOL!!! I mean, if you wanna buy a car, you cant cry poverty if you are buying it cash...say you really really wanna buy THIS car with no money down, he might feel sorry for you... But then again....leases is what you will put you under...ask you how much per month you can afford and the sticker price at that point in time is irrelevant...or force you on a smaller less expensive car. You want an Impala for Cruize prices... If a lease wont get you into an Impala, then a Malibu lease definitely will!!! Without haggling sticker prices on either car as the focus is how much per month can the buyer afford...

What category does infrastructure maintenance belong to? Does it belong in the 'protecting & serving the interests of the American citizen' (or Canadian in my case) category? Because I think it does. Not that I dont agree with you @balthazar with your reasoning and your pleas regarding 'lost revenue streams'... I agree wholeheartedly. Less corruption in Quebec's case regarding construction contracts should be the rule of thumb waaaay before gouging citizens pockets...but it does take a ton of money to repair roads. -

Well. In Québec. No extra fees or taxes are put into EVs or EV usage. The opposite is true. Sales tax exemptions for EV purchases. Lower Hydro rates for personal charging stations that are in your home, etc... The only thing that may be more is car registration fees that are higher. But then again, maybe that is because a Tesla model S is a 100 000 dollar car and that puts it into luxury territory and luxury cars in Québec are registered at a higher rate than normal cars... -

Seriously speaking though. When I read this yesterday, my opinion was that the State of Indiana is against EVs and this is just a way to discourage people to buy EVs. I refrained from giving this opinion as I felt I was rushing my thoughts. Its a good thing I didnt share this thought process yesterday as reading yours (Drew's) and Suave's posts makes me realize that infrastructure repairs need a way to be financed. As gasoline usage goes down and EV usage goes up (eventually)...so does the need for governments to seek replacement income for said upkeep. -

No. No toll. But...legalize pot and the profit from pot pays for roads. Just an idea. Im not advocating this. Just for back and forth banter purposes. -
Fiat News: EPA Alleges FCA Violated Diesel Emission Standards
oldshurst442 replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
You and I are in agreement here. The F part of FCA is f@#k ing douchey The C part of FCA is crappy. But since Marchionne is in charge of all this shyte and his company that he runs is based in Europe somewhere and not Auburn Hills, USA, than I absolve all wrong doing done only on the Chrysler part. The FIAT part could just suck it!- 44 replies

December 2016: General Motors Co.
oldshurst442 replied to William Maley's topic in 2016 Sales Archive
The way I figure it with cars like a small in size and stature like the ATS, a small in size Corvette-like Cadillac, a sub-ATS model which would be even smaller in size and stature to the ATS...and so forth and so forth... You see, I like Buddy Holly. I LOVE him in fact. l Love his music. I don't want him to look like a liar all these years ago when he said his love is bigger than a Cadillac. And he wants to show it when his love interest drives him back. So...Im gonna tell you how its gotta be... BIG CADILLAC CARS...full of PRESTIGE. No...NO SMALL CADILLAC CARS. THOSE SUCK! -
@balthazar I guess there is a limit to one's passion. This car needs deep pockets to restore her back to life. Right? (And lots of time and energy I bet...) Just for the fact that you drove 6.5 hours...400-500 some odd miles just to check her out impresses me. In the winter no less... She does look good though. It would be a shame if the crusher got a hold of her.

@ccap41 I could see that... I do prefer the Murano over the Terrain. Front view, side profile, 3/4 profile. All better looking than the Terrain when compared to the Murano. The floating area is better done in the Murano as well. The Murano's back window also looks a tad larger than it. Not by much though... I prefer the Ford Edge over all of them myself. I just don't get it...why the trend to have small back windows...in cars and in SUVs...WTF???!!! @dfelt Yeah...the guvment conspiracy to protect us... Trump will do a fine job doing that Ill tell ya. He will tweet our enemies to death blasting them they are over rated terrorists! And no...unfortunately I don't remember Time Cop for some reason....
