MEH.... Your Canadian friends probably always vote for the Tories.... No different than what Republicans think of ANY Democrat. And Vice Versa for Dems against the Repubs... Our country is also in disgust with our politicians....for the longest time no elections resulted in a majority.... The Liberals had a minority government a couple of times, then the Conservatives the last 15-20 years. Beause we dont trust ANY of our parties... The election before this one, Harper's Tories managed a majority government in office only to phoque it up the very next election. How bad did Harper's Tories phoque it up? Well, a very young, inexperienced but hip Trudeau won a majority government in office while the Conservatives barely registered.....the second time in history for the Conservatives to leave such a bad taste for Canadians....Mulroney did the same thing.... How bad did Mulrnoey phoque it up? Well, the Liberals took power again after Mulroney phoqued it up when Trudeau Senior phoqued it up and Mulroney took over the first time around... And trust me......Mulroney phoqued it up real bad. And trust me, Trudeau Senior also phoqued it real bad, although not as bad as Mulroney. But close. As bad as Harper bad!!! Harper was just as bad as Trudeau Senior...but the Torie lovers will NEVER admit to that!!! So as you could see....Canadian politics is really not that different than American politics... (The NDP really never has a chance, they lost it big time sometime in the late 1970s early 1980s and Trudeau Senior came from retirement and came into power for his 3rd and final time before he phoqued it up leaving Mulroney to govern us 8 or so years and then he phoqued it up...NDP came close 2 elections ago, but the man died on us...RIP Mr. Layton) I am somewhere in the middle of all3 of our parties. Sometimes I am a Liberal. Sometimes I am a Torie. Sometimes I am a NDP guy... Basically....I really dont care who the phoque is in power...the shyte that comes out of all 3 parties smells like SHYTE!!!

I am of the opposite opinion of yours. I am tiring of the Charger's looks, and of the Chrysler 300. But I cant get enough of the Challenger. For sure I want a new look/new platformed Challenger to grace our presence. I am more than happy to own a 2016/2017 Challenger as is.

Yeah.... This concept's face looks familiar to me in the form of Elmiraj grille and Aston Martin Lagonda fascia rolled into one. I like it but like others, I would prefer vertical headlamps like the Elmiraj had. It did not blow me away like the other concepts, it is pretty, but like Frisky said, it dont feel like a Cadillac. Im ready to let go of Arts&Science, but only if it is replaced by something that identifies what a Cadillac should look and feel like.I dont know what that is, but this concept's exterior does not have a Cadillac feel to it. Let me repeat, I like it, and Im sure it will be quite imposing in person, but so far, I aint feeling any Cadillac vibes with it. Interior is simplistic in a very elegant way. I LOVE THAT. Im not sure about the suit material effect they chose, its different and its cool, and I think it could work...instead of the usual all around leather that has been the go to luxury material. Suede is leather, but I was never a fan of it either on a jacket or car interior. I think I might like the expensive personally tailored designer suit look of it all! LOVE THAT TRUNK. The way it opens, the volume, the way its designed and the way the interior materials of it gel. It looks expensive.. Who ever thought that a trunk could be so luxurious and beautifully made to look expensive like the rest of a car's interior???!!!

I also like this concept. I like the grille as it works superbly on this design and the proportions of the car. I LOVE long hood/short deck designs. What I dont like is the rake of the windshield is too sleek. Resulting in another thing I dont like about it. You mentioned it....there is no visibility..... And the back window.....I like fastbacks, but this concept hardly has a C Pillar.....I mean it has a C Pillar, but I like a car where there is some sort of back and its not just 'fast' on a fastback... But very sexy concept.

Good luck wit dat! Being the Maybach, they aren't going for all out performance. A Tesla is faster than a Rolls-Royce Phantom, heck and Audi A8 is faster than Rolls-Royce Phantom, but is it better? The Maybach coupe is about over the top luxury and style, and it would still be pretty fast. They could do an AMG electric, (like a better battery version of the SLS electric car) or an AMG hybrid that has Telsa Ludicrous mode performance. Then its a different vehicle all together waaaaay beyong what a Model S is all about... YOU yourself made that distinction with the S Class... THIS is a COUPE besides all that. The Tesla Model S is a 100 000 dollar sports sedan. The S Class is a 100 000 dollar plus cruiser. The Tesla image is a hot thing right now and that is why the Model S is winning the sales wars with the S Class in this realm of 100 000 dollar cars. If M-B will produce this concept it has to figure a way to get this car to be a hot item. It is also going against a very sexy Aston Martin... This car is fighting a war on 2 fronts. The last time the Germans and M-B as it seems fought a war on 2 fronts, they lost big time.

The point is that the door handle on a Malibu MAY BE an issue for Malibu owners but the stop/start circuitry is RELIABLE. Well, let us be honest El K about what Hyper said..... There are several 'Canadas' in the US in terms of populations and regions.... There is the New York area in which just in NYC there is approx 50% of Canada's population. And its a mighty mighty economy. That includes Massachusetts and its city Boston as Boston right now has financial ties with NYC and Montreal is given a chance to join them in these relationships... There is the Houston/Dallas area where Texas and its surroundings control a big part of the USA's economy. And Houston is a very fast growing city on par with Toronto's growth. I think as of now, percentage wise, Houston is growing faster than Toronto is.. There is California...and correct me if Im wrong, California can be divided into 2 'Canadas'.... SoCal and NoCal.... Northern California could include the Seattle region.... I dont know if Vancouver has any financial ties to Seattle as the Greater Toronto region has with Michigan and NY as Montreal does with New England and NY as well... And California is the biggest economy in the US I think. Then there is the South with and without Texas. Illinois with Michigan and the surrounding areas. Canada.....really only has Upper and Lower Canada. That is where most of the population is and always was and that is where the heart of Canada's economy is and always was. From Montreal to Toronto. In the past 'twas Montreal, now it is Toronto. But even in 2016, 6-8 million lives in the GTA region and 4-5 million lives in the Montreal region. That is slightly less than 45% of Canada's population.... The oil money from Alberta has been spent like drunkards on a night on the town blowing it on booze and hookers.... Just as fast as that region grew from the Easterners of the Maritime Provinces and Quebec and Ontario, that region is deflating... We all used Alberta's oil money like cheap hookers. Love them, sleep with them and in the morning we phoque off to go back home to our wives... Ontario will be fine, even without Oshawa. Ontario is NOT a 1 trick pony. That is all these cars have left....small incremental improvements, different style air scoops and vents from the previous years and just rehash old sentimental trims like T/A and Superbee monikers....and from time to time go all crazy and do Hellcat type stuff. Not that this latest T/A with the 6.4 liter Hemi with the Brembo package wont be of any interest to me, because it will be....especially that it will look like a Hellcat, but as the years roll in with these LX cars, the more old they seem. Long in the tooth maybe too strong of a description, but maybe its because I have blinders on for these cars and I dont want to admit to that statement fully!

I gather this sports car will be wearing a Holden badge. I doubt that it will be a Corvette as a Vette is a Chevy. Will always be a Chevy. Even the Cadillac XLR was known to everyone that its really a Vette... Also, GM would have no problems announcing that the Vette will be sold down under as of now as a Vette sold down under would not be an explosive surprise. The only head turning thing about that is RHD on a Vette. Which is hardly shocking, it would be expected... Maybe Alpha II is coming to us sooner than we think? Before 2020? Say 2018 maybe?
