  1. verbal diarrhea is what you do.... Like Wings.....YOU are VERY insightful...yet you dont share those views with us....you grace our presence with crap biased agaisnt and solely at Ford..and to get away with it..you have nice Vince McMahon speeches yourself, such as your signature: It's just facts. Nothing personal. You wanna get Mean Gene Okerlund? OK....as long as I could get Stone Cold Steve Austin!
  2. Bump.... Because the last couple of posts after this one is just a hot pile of shyte! And THIS is bang on to what is going on in Oshawa.
  3. Riiiiiight! You consume yourself silly daily laughing at Ford because of what Ford fans say.... What you just said would be some of the stupid things GM fans say and THAT makes ANYBODY laugh/cringe at... Again...this whole hypocrisy thing... You just cant seem to shake that off, can you? About Trudeau and taking a nice leap to take a dig at you.... That is the beauty of it.... You probably thought of it...so it wasnt much of a nice leap as it was a just a little casual stroll...laughing at you....having fun at your expense, the way I did with Wings.... Its easy to do to both of you since both of you have only 1 objective.... OK.... ONWARD and upward moving forward about Oshawa.....
  4. Oh...that wasnt me being apologetic.. That was me being polite telling you to...go get your &@#$+# shine box Trying to make it seem like Im kidding with you....busting your ballz a little bit...
  5. Nonsense. In all likelihood it was Montreal's supremely inept manufacturing plant that helped secure me at least two or three more years in Oshawa than I would otherwise have gotten. Now stop grasping at straws. You just look silly I know about that plant.... Chevy Celebrities would be rolling off the line while the GM worker would be sitting down on a chair reading Le Journal de Montréal and when the Celebrity would be at his station, the GM worker would put down his newspaper, get up, approach the vehicle, do what he has to do and go back to his paper awaiting the next vehicle to come his way... My dad bought a brand new 1986 Chevy Celebrity. Iron Duke powered, AM radio only stripper. I still have fond memories of that car. It served our family well! This aint about that. Its about me calling you out on a certain hypocritical view point you may have regarding GM versus FoMoCo. You brought up Saint-Thérèse... You have countless of times knocked Ford for mediocrity... You see where Im getting at? YOU take shots at Ford for mediocrity... YOU brought up Sainte-Thérèse... I call you up on hypocrisy.... Sorry El K... C'est La Vie! I REALLY SHOULD DO A CANADIAN ONE....
  6. Peek a boo you miserable %#&$ you! I see you you mudder%#&$! Now go home and get your %#&$=#' shinebox!
  7. ^^^ Now that is you being a bad boy! LOL!!!
  8. Actually me too! And you just know it will be done!
  9. Maybe not Brougham, as Brougham sounds to old geezery but I still gave you a +1. Id nix all the old names except for Eldorado and Id keep Elmiraj too. I dont know what proper name a CT6 should have....I do want a name name. I decided that Allante and Calais should be left in the past so I edited it that part out in this post!!!
  10. Maybe not Brougham, as Brougham sounds to old geezery but I still gave you a +1. Id nix all the old names except for Eldorado and Id keep Elmiraj too. Maybe even Allante and Calais. Come to think of it, I think a CT6 could be called Calais and be successful.
  11. Second to last name...EQ BOOST???!!! At least Ford's version is full logical. Those Germans....wacky they are!
  12. I believe you will soon be schooled… that luxury sedan owners don't care to, nor are remotely interested in, drag racing. As long as I keep on being a party animal, I dont care what others do. As long as M-B keeps on making E and S Class AMGs, Cadillac CTS Vs, and Tesla makes Ludicrous mode Model S and possibly Model 3...and so forth and so forth Im gonna Rock Around The Clock. Until Broad Day Light. I wanna Rock N Roll All Night And Party Every Day!
  13. Im disappointed in this as I see the writing on the wall. Damned right pissed off I am. But at the end of the day, GM has to remain profitable and if the CAW and Oshawa cannot come to an agreement for GM to remain profitable in any way they can. Then so be it. Canada should be looking at Hyundai and anybody else to build their cars here, not just GM, Ford and Chrysler, but that also means that the CAW has to realize that Mexico is quite competitive and adept in building cars too...and part of NAFTA... EDIT: BECAUSE I AGREE WITH DREW ABOUT THE CAW AND I UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON BEFORE DREW MADE HIS LAST POST!!!
  14. Well. I also saw this coming when the CDN government sold off their remaining shares in GM. I wanted to say if I was in charge of these things I would have kept a controlling interest in GM Canada shares to prevent Oshawa from closing forcing GM Detroit Headquarters to keep Oshawa open with cars being built there, but Im not sure the bailout agreement was written that way for that to happen... Yep. Oshawa will be closing. I wonder what El Kabong thinks about this...will he vehemently HATE on GM now he being Canadian and all? Us Canadians are kinda like you Americans (THANX OBAMA), Im sure he will just blame Justin Trudeau for this and continue on ranting about FoMoCo. http://www.wsj.com/articles/canada-sells-remaining-shares-in-general-motors-1428363868 http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2015/04/08/gm-share-sale-canadian-government_n_ 7024464.html http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/canada-to-sell-final-73-4-million-shares-of-gm-from-bailout/article23814942/ from the last link above:
  15. Trouble is.. The Chinese driver did not have his hands on the steering wheel at the time of the accident...regardless if the Model S was on "autonomous" mode... Too bad for the 33 year old Chinese programmer and much to your chagrin that Tesla has NEVER said 'autonomous' driving is full on autonomous.... There was a human sitting at the driver's chair, but a human was not paying attention to what was going on and THAT is how this is gonna play out. Much like the last time you had a hard on for a Tesla failure... Party On!!! http://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/videos/a30357/watch-this-tesla-model-s-run-a-record-breaking-10-second-quarter-mile/
  16. My bad on the mis-understanding of sub-brands... However, Ill still stick to my guns and say Mercedes has no idea how to sub-brand... Before Daimler bought AMG, AMG was an independent company hot rodding M-B products with their own in-house hardware. In this scenario, AMG was not a sub-brand. Daimler bought AMG and the way M-B does AMG today, AMG is just a trim package...especially when there was AMG "sport" models not too long ago that were above the regular M-B cars and below the "real" AMG badged cars.... The AMG treatment is done on all of M-B's models. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Making it by definition, a trim package on the same level as 'SE', 'LT', 'GL' and so forth and so forth. I gather that a "real" sub-brand would be how Chrysler USED to do the Imperial line-up back in the 1950s before the Imperial became a model of its own. \ In which I will keep my opinion in that sub-brands suck too much to do right taking away from the core brands... That is why its easier, and more efficient to do what M-B is doing with AMG... But I could be wrong in viewing this mess of an opinion this way...
  17. Exactly like that! Congrats, you now have entered into my world successfully!
  18. Pushing buttons. I sometimes like pushing buttons to grind them gears... Pushing buttons is what I do best. Yes. Yes. That ancient phone is there for sarcastic, smart aleck smartphone reasons!
  19. It is of my own personal observations that I deem sub-brands a failure. Sub brands that fail from my own observations are sub-brands that should have never been brought forth as the existing brand could do the job perfectly had the billions of R&D money been spent PROPERLY on the cars from the brand that exists... Saturn and Scion come to mind. GM spent billions trying to improve on quality and new manufacturing techniques by introducing Saturn with all new factories, workers and dealership networks.... Imagine what miracles Chevy, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick and Cadillac would have done had these billions been spent on them? Toyota did the same for SCION because the Toyota brand became too dull and bland and full of geezers buying into the Toyota brand. SCION was geared for the young crowd, but geezers bought SCION. Imagine how Toyota the brand could have reversed this trend if Toyota the corporation would have spent the money correctly in giving the youth what they wanted in AFFORDABLE Supra sports cars, sexy Celicas and the like? Anyway....back to Mercedes Benz. I think this will fail too. WHY? Because Mercedes Benz has name recognition as it is.... Awesome name recognition. Mercedes should use this to beat up on Tesla on name alone. If the appropriate money was spent on engineering a great EV that is that beats up on a Tesla. This way, by creating an EV sub brand....they limit their financial resources to actually engineer a great EV... BMW's iBrand in no way trounces Tesla's engineering...THAT is why BMW is failing... SMART and Maybach also lead me to believe that Mercedes Benz has no phoquing idea how do sub-brand. General Motors may have failed with Saturn....and they failed with Lasalle... But Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick (still alive and kickin') did succeed. Pontiac and Oldsmobile died because Saturn and SAAB stole the necessary funds to do things right.... OK...money was bleeding form the late 1970s....other factors killed GM's umbrella formula. But Pontiac and Oldsmobile were downright popular brands that lasted 100 years!
  20. ^^^ I went from a +1, to a 0, to a -1 faster than a 427 Shelby Cobra 0-100-0 time! And you Mr. DFELT got a -1 for encouraging me! You know what is funnier than that Mr. DFELT... Its that the nice piece of art showing how millennial humans have sex is somewhat a depiction of reality... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/weird-news/the-sex-selfie-stick-lets-you-facetime-the-inside-of-a-vagina-10080436.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2593943/aftersex-selfie-trend-goes-viral-Instagram.html HOLY COW!
  21. I STOPPED doing numbers slightly over a decade ago. I realized and learned that Any Given Sunday, performance numbers WILL vary because of many many many factors. These factors change from one speed track to the next, from one moment to the next, minutes later and even vary the same moment because even the side by side tracks will be different to each other. Day temperatures, barometer readings, sea level, oxygen levels, driver performances, tires...old, new, shredded, not properly warmed up, racing slicks, stock street tires, prepped track versus street quality road surfaces...a surface full of tire debris or a spillage of some type of liquid be it fuel, oil, prestone, and the clean up crew cleaned it up properly or didnt or the clean-up residue is still present or the remnants of the spillled liquid is still there... the car itself not being a consistent performer....see the C4 Corvette ZR-1.... yada yada yada... However... Just to cool down 'Bong's jets about the Camaro ZL-1 because he likes to bash the Mustang so much.... http://blog.caranddriver.com/zl1-derful-chevy-prices-camaro-with-650-horsepower-lt4-from-62135/ From CarandDriver using Chevy's probably conservative figures... The Hellcat was PROVEN to do 11.2 @ 125 MPH on skinny ass tires and a curb weight of 4400lbs...on a race prepped track http://blog.caranddriver.com/0-to-1320-feet-in-what-chrysler-posts-2015-dodge-challenger-srt-hellcat-14-mile-time/ Huge performance numbers here for both cars.... But like I said.... 'Bong likes toot toot toot the excellence of execution card.... Take note that I dont give a shyte about performance numbers because: I STOPPED doing numbers slightly over a decade ago. I realized and learned that Any Given Sunday, performance numbers WILL vary because of many many many factors. These factors change from one speed track to the next, from one moment to the next, minutes later and even vary the same moment because even the side by side tracks will be different to each other. This is SOLELY to keep 'Bong from using stupid childish superlatives like "annihilate".... Alpha Camaro ZL-1 should EASILY be ANNIHILATING a soon to be 3 year old Hellcat that weighs 4400 lbs that everybody by now knows that the Challenger uses crappy, skinny assed tires... FAIL FOR ZL-1 is how I sees it.... (which I really dont, I just thought Id play the same childish game he does!)
  22. And just to show you Im jokin' and not trollin' Sorry to hear about that, mate!
