What category does infrastructure maintenance belong to? Does it belong in the 'protecting & serving the interests of the American citizen' (or Canadian in my case) category? Because I think it does. Not that I dont agree with you @balthazar with your reasoning and your pleas regarding 'lost revenue streams'... I agree wholeheartedly. Less corruption in Quebec's case regarding construction contracts should be the rule of thumb waaaay before gouging citizens pockets...but it does take a ton of money to repair roads.

Well. In Québec. No extra fees or taxes are put into EVs or EV usage. The opposite is true. Sales tax exemptions for EV purchases. Lower Hydro rates for personal charging stations that are in your home, etc... The only thing that may be more is car registration fees that are higher. But then again, maybe that is because a Tesla model S is a 100 000 dollar car and that puts it into luxury territory and luxury cars in Québec are registered at a higher rate than normal cars...

Seriously speaking though. When I read this yesterday, my opinion was that the State of Indiana is against EVs and this is just a way to discourage people to buy EVs. I refrained from giving this opinion as I felt I was rushing my thoughts. Its a good thing I didnt share this thought process yesterday as reading yours (Drew's) and Suave's posts makes me realize that infrastructure repairs need a way to be financed. As gasoline usage goes down and EV usage goes up (eventually)...so does the need for governments to seek replacement income for said upkeep.

The way I figure it with cars like a small in size and stature like the ATS, a small in size Corvette-like Cadillac, a sub-ATS model which would be even smaller in size and stature to the ATS...and so forth and so forth... You see, I like Buddy Holly. I LOVE him in fact. l Love his music. I don't want him to look like a liar all these years ago when he said his love is bigger than a Cadillac. And he wants to show it when his love interest drives him back. So...Im gonna tell you how its gotta be... BIG CADILLAC CARS...full of PRESTIGE. No...NO SMALL CADILLAC CARS. THOSE SUCK!

@balthazar I guess there is a limit to one's passion. This car needs deep pockets to restore her back to life. Right? (And lots of time and energy I bet...) Just for the fact that you drove 6.5 hours...400-500 some odd miles just to check her out impresses me. In the winter no less... She does look good though. @ccap41 I could see that... I do prefer the Murano over the Terrain. Front view, side profile, 3/4 profile. All better looking than the Terrain when compared to the Murano. The floating area is better done in the Murano as well. The Murano's back window also looks a tad larger than it. Not by much though... I prefer the Ford Edge over all of them myself. I just don't get it...why the trend to have small back windows...in cars and in SUVs...WTF???!!! @dfelt Yeah...the guvment conspiracy to protect us... Trump will do a fine job doing that Ill tell ya. Oh boy!!! About this The back window! Its an SUV.... Arent SUVs supposed to have a space and visibility advantage over its sedan counterpart? That is one small slit of a window back there... Unless of course there is Cadillac CT6's rear view mirror camera available for this thing, I aint too impressed.

OK...Ill do another as well. More legit this time around. I was looking at my scale 1:18 die cast car collection, and I realized that I have more GM cars than any other brand. More importantly, Chevrolet seems to dominate all GM brands in my collection. So I will do Chevrolet as my favorite. Ill pick the SS as my affordable muscle car machine. And the Impala LTZ midnight edition as my luxury sedan needs. Since I live in Canada, and the SS is not available to me, I could always choose a Vette, but Inaint a Vette kinda guy, so Ill have to go retro on you all...a restomod of some sorts. We might as well keep it everything Impala. The SS is a Caprice in other parts of the world, and the Caprice was the luxury version of the platform while the Impala was the sporty version... And the one brand that I hate the most, even more so than Toyota...its gotta be SAAB. But SAAB does no longer exist. Its still SAAB. There are a few Toyotas that I LOVE. There is not one bloody SAAB that I like. I hate them all!!! Even when GM owned them. ESPECIALLY when GM owned them!!! Here is one SAAB I would love to own. Here is another. You may want to learn about North American history... Its true that up here in Canada, we really did not have that kind of hatred on our streets. But the KKK still exists today. Its head was cut off and its power was diminished some what, but over the last 20 years, the KKK is picking up steam and flourishing and it might actually see bigger levels of popularity than it enjoyed 100 years ago. And because Brown people are immigrating into the USA more and more, and more whites are being lied to about said Brown people to make them scared $h!less about Brown people, the KKK will not only continue killing Black folk, but today they also have Brown people to target.
