  1. Because it is a TRD Off-Road and not a TRD Pro, it likely won't be too pricey. Personally, I would just want the rear to be able to be locked. I don't know how fancy this new AWD system is but I would just want it to not allow me to get stuck in snow because I wouldn't be off-roading it.
  2. 100% agreed. That 2.7 is like 20 years old at this point. It's such a worthless engine.
  3. So many of us have been saying this for years at this point.
  4. It's just a baby lift, right? Is the FX4 along those same lines?
  5. Uhhh WANT. I'd prefer more horsetorques but it is what it is.
  6. Z71 doesn't add a fancy suspension, does it? Isn't a Z71 package like the FX4 Ford package that adds some skid plates and a locking rear differential, and that's basically it?
  7. I don't think Toyota is mimicking anything GM does.
  8. Exactly.. I'm not sure why they needed a teaser pic for this but it is what it is.. I still like it and the small updates are welcome. Is this really just NOW getting CarPlay and AndroidAuto?
  9. The interior looks great but they have never struck me as attractive cars and this is no different.
  10. I REALLY like the interior on the new Jettas and a GLI version would be a pretty sweet daily.
  11. That's kind of a disappointing update for a company who released a teaser pic.
  12. Hmmm interesting.. Neat to offer more TRD Pro options but this is definitely the least attractive of the bunch.
  13. Blah Blah Blah Mercedes 7.7L is weaker than the much smaller displacement Diesels. Shouldn't it be like 600hp/1200lb-ft of torque? They should get with the times already. With the more compact pushrod design, I doubt its much or any physically larger than the DOHC Coyote.
  14. I'd LOVE to see a swap into the mustang with this! I don't care what the power numbers are stock, it would just be really cool.
  15. Without actually saying that.. Ford said that. They said they know the requirements of medium duty trucks and all that. I believe it is in the below video. I don't know how to embed them so you can just click "play". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FtNlfAbc2w&feature=youtu.be
  16. ReAlLy? Ram makes due with 1.0L less displacement in their 6 cyl and they make 400hp and 1000lb-ft or torque. Ford makes due with 1.0L less displacement and they make 450hp and 935lb-ft or torque Chevy makes due with 1.1L less displacement and they make 445hp and 910lb-ft of torque. Tell Mercedes if they need any pointers to come across the pond.
  17. I know it's plenty, just as if this new 7.3 put out 500lb-ft would be plenty but not as much as others or other options or whatever the fck he's trying to convey.
  18. I can't tell if you're serious or think I'm being serious.. I'm just digging at the Mercedes fanboi in the room who always likes to take digs at anything American.
  19. Oh I know but compared to the D3's diesels.. WEAK.
  20. This is a work truck engine. What part about that is difficult to understand. Check this spec out.. Mercedes Unimog has a 7.7L 6cyl making 299hp and 899tq. That's some weak-ass sh!t.
  21. I would wager good money they're going to put out a number larger than 1000lb-ft of torque..because competition.. The updated 6.7**
  22. I don't think you understand the point of this engine.
  23. It's nice to see more innovation but I think overall I like the GMC's much better. I would definitely rather have this over a regular tailgate, fwiw.
  24. I don't think it's borderline, fwiw.
