I won't take Rivian serious until they start passing EPA tests. Therefore, true working consumer vehicles.- 25 replies

Lincoln News: Lincoln Corsair to get Plug-In Option
ccap41 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Lincoln
I was surprised that it looked a little bigger than the Escape spy shots we saw a few weeks/month ago. Maybe it's just angles or my eyes.. ?♂️ -
Agreed but people are willing to throw serious coin at 700hp vehicles.. I wouldn't doubt if it gets marked UP or is marked up. Insane to think at 92k it will sell(also 52k Blazers). Vehicles are just priced so outrageously these days. They're pricing things outside of the average family's prices. If you have 2 kids and want a 40k vehicle.. the household better be making around 100k.

Dishwashers are MANDATORY? That seems really odd to me.

85 isn't 100.. wind resistance grows exponentially.

Hmmmm interesting idea and I find it an ironic money source "Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund" while anything going 100mph is likely getting 50%. or worse, of their rated highway mileage.
-
? It started doing that probably last week for me and I tried that.. Not exactly sure the actual issue but it seems to work for now.

I get that if I try and go from one page to another but if you refresh the screen it loads it correctly.

GMC News: GMC Introduces Refreshed 2020 GMC Acadia

Colorado has 85 as well. 91 is common here if premium isn't 93. I feel like it's about 50/50 on if premium is 91 or 93. -
That green is amazing! ?

You can get a GLC350e 4Matic for 49,999 with 315hp, 413tq, plug-in hybrid with 13 miles of all electric range. You could get an AMG GLC43 with 362hp/384tq for 56k.

Right?!? I just don't really understand it... Little to no value at that price..

Nothing will compare dollar for dollar to an OE turbo car though. Simple tunes yield pretty massive gains. Edge ST Tune -
The Blazer looks so bad outside of the RS trim.. RS looks really good but any other trim just looks awkward.

GM News: GM To Launch Electric Bike Brand in Europe
ccap41 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in General Motors
Yes and no. I agree it's a lot of money but if riding is your hobby you likely already have a couple/few grand into a bike anyway. My parents justification is so my mom can ride further with my dad. I think it's a bunch of BS, personally.. Yeah, this GM bike looks like a commuting bike as it looks more compact and funky ergonomics. -
They should have had more money per paycheck throughout the year.

My mom recently bought one and they're 3-5k(just another thing she will use for a month or two and never use it again..?). This doesn't seem too optimistic. Hers is an "actual" road bike though, not this funky city bike-like thing. -
Mercedez Benz News Mercedes-Benz EQC is Sold Out for 2019
ccap41 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Mercedes-Benz
I think they'd be just fine as long as they have better quality control than Tesla, which they do. -
Yes and no, It's tough to imagine them producing the same level of "meh" that they were and being successful. I think the BK, in the long run, very much helped them realize some things and that's why we have some great products today. They were complacent and the BK woke them up and got them out of it.

"Alpina works closely with BMW and their processes are integrated into BMW's production lines, thus Alpina is recognized by the German Ministry of Transportas an automobile manufacturer, in contrast to other performance specialists which are aftermarket tuners. For instance, the Alpina B7 is produced at the same assembly line in Dingolfing, Germany (BMW Plant Dingolfing), as BMW's own 7 Series. The B7's twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 is assembled by hand at Alpina's facility in Buchloe, Germany, before being shipped to BMW for installation,"

I would actually love that! I love a lifting partner who actually takes it serious. I actually did that just last night but not that much.. I warmed up with a 5 min light cardio then 180X10 Then 410X6, 430X6, 430X6, 450X5. I'm getting close to 500lbs but as you and I both know the sled isn't all that difficult to throw quite a bit of weight on. I had to tweak my form a few months ago when I thought I did something to my super lower back/tailbone area doing this. I was bringing my knees as close to my chest as possible and I didn't know it was a thing but in doing so it was curling my hips off the back and curling my lower back and when pushing weight you can strain stuff down there. Now I'm more conscience about my hips and making sure I start to push juuuuust before they start to curl off. I probably lost about 2 inches of range but I'm all for improved form over trying to throw more weight than I should be risking injury.

It's beautiful ?
