  1. No they don't. They still have the same 4 door cab with a 5-6ft bed, like every other truck. By your logic, they look like 90's trucks. Let's take a hard look at the other 95% of cars/trucks/SUVs on the market...
  2. So all trucks must look the same, too. They are all shaped nearly identical to 90's trucks.
  3. Did you miss the part where I said "no noticeable lag". There's a difference between it being non-existent and it being very minimal.
  4. Not a single thing about that says 1990's. The 90's didn't know what a wind tunnel was and it shows.
  5. And everybody is entitled to their wrong opinions.
  6. I'm one of them. Outside of like a really dark red or brown and some blue.. I'm not a fan of brighter colors on cars.
  7. Exactly. I don't see how any non-fanboy could possibly say " especially still look like circa 1990's" to the 2018's.
  8. They don't offer incentives, they just price them low to begin with.
  9. We're talking fractions of a second so it's essentially negligible differences.
  10. "normal" is key here because twin scrolls have gotten great reviews for no noticeable lag and electric turbos the same.
  11. Sorry I managed to read something incorrectly.
  12. They're going to put a 4 banger in their Silverado but not hybrid tech in a Sierra..?
  13. That's just ignorant talk trying to downplay a company.
  14. Nah, all of the modern LED lighting makes none of them look old to me.
  15. True but the Colorado seems like it's better by a larger margin and AMERICAN company selling trucks. I just expected the twins to have more of a negative sales effect on the Taco. As a Taco fan, I'm glad a better truck came out as competition.
  16. I also feel like that could be said for every singly luxury branded vehicle ever created. I'm impressed their sales never dipped when the objectively better GM twins hit the market.
  17. It's funny you try and single Mercedes out as if Audi, BMW, Jag, Lexus, Acura, and Cadillac don't all use the same formula for their family of vehicles.
  18. I don't see the issue because it sold and sold for incredible prices.. ??‍♂️ It still did all the luxury and off-road stuff, it was just rough around the edges.
  19. 2018 vs 2019 G Wagen "What's the difference between the 2018 and 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class? Well, if you're talking about styling, the answer is "barely anything." They look exactly the same. If you're talking about everything else, though, the answer is "virtually everything." There are only five parts that carry over to the new 2019 G-Class from its predecessor: The door handles, spare tire cover, sun visors, headlight washer nozzles and a bracket somewhere you can't actually see. The term "all-new" is often overused, but this is really as "all-new" as you can get." " It's 2.1 inches longer, 3 inches wider and its wheelbase has been spread by 1.6 inches. It didn't really get any taller, which is probably for the best. Thanks to an increased use of lighter-weight materials, about 375 pounds was also shaved from its curb weight."
  20. I'm right there with you @dwightlooi I've never bought a new vehicle and honestly never plan to out of value as well but I do know that enthusiasts always ask for these specific cars and then when automakers cancel them for poor sales.."we" wonder why. And all the crazy SUV/CUV boom, enthusiasts seem to hate but they refuse to buy new stuff to actually influence automakers. We essentially have no voice in the market yet we care the most about the market..
  21. 2019 G Wagen 550: 13/17/14 (city/highway/comb) 2019 Land Cruiser: 13/18/15 (city/highway/comb) Miles per gallon.
  22. I watched a review where they pointed out that the exposed screws weren't there anymore.
  23. Just the exterior styling.. Aren't all the body panels, chassis, transmission, interior all new?
