  1. Why do you take anything that isn't blind brand humping as an attempt to belittle them? Those are facts. There is less interior volume behind the driver's seat. That's weird to me for a vehicle this size and it's also weird to others here as well. Are they just attempting to belittle GM? Get pissy with them too. Looking at them in person does not change facts about a vehicle. That is why they are facts.
  2. I like this. But I also really like the "basic" AMG GT. I just think it's a great looking car with AMG V8 noises.
  3. I wasn't relying strictly on CARGO volume but total volume behind the driver's seat, which includes the 2nd row of seats.
  4. Yeah it doesn't really make sense to me. I understand the looks and everything attracting people but the interior volume just seems off.
  5. Yes, you are correct. It's just comical how similar the interior volumes are.
  6. ?? I'm even fine with hybrid sports cars but I just can't get behind a pure EV one quite yet.
  7. Nope, not correct. Cram that in a GT350's body and I still don't care. If I'm buying a product like this I want the noises it makes as well. To me, that's part of what makes it awesome. I'm okay with the EV thing for commuter vehicles and whatnot but I don't want a pure EV sports car. No freakin way.
  8. @Drew Dowdell, are you out in LA checking this out?
  9. To take that even further.. Why buy almost anything with a luxury badge? There are an incredible amount of high end features available on non-luxury badged vehicles these days.
  10. I'm open about disliking chrome on vehicles but the only part of this that screams "too much chrome" is the mirror caps. Everything else seems tasteful, and I'm not a fan of chrome. I'm sure if I had the 70k for an Aviator I would also be okay having a shop paint the mirror caps for another grand.
  11. They have some pretty impressive technology in the 2.7T and the active fuel management on the 5.3.
  12. I think you mean with the rear seats down.. From my googling: CRV seats UP: 39.2 CuFt seats DOWN: 75.8 CuFt Edge seats UP: 39.2 CuFt seats DOWN 73.4 CuFt. Either way, if that's with the seats folded down and the Blazer has less space behind the driver's seat...WTF GM? Also, this is all a little mind boggling to me because my brother just bought a new CRV and I've been in an Edge and they do not feel like they are that close in total interior volume.
  13. ..what..? There's less interior volume in the new Blazer than the Equinox????
  14. They were producing cars in 2008.
  15. How is there not a post reporting on the new Lincoln Aviator??? 400hp/ 400tq plus a plug-in version promising at least 30 miles of range(which gets you 450hp and 600tq).
  16. As super bad-ass as that is, it doesn't interest me at all.
  17. I think everybody I know has used Uber and/or Lyft and they're a great service and I think they keep A LOT of drunk drivers off the roads daily. I know that's why all my friends and I use them. Absolutely. People coming out of college with 100k in debt.. Then trying to add a 40k car payment.. I think the Wrangler can still be had in a very base trim without A/C and stuff.
  18. Oh dang, the plant is only about 2hrs from me. https://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/20180518/ISSUE01/180519884/rivian-ceo-scaringe-plans-to-build-electric-cars-in-normal He's also super young.. 35 years old.
  19. Hmmmm I am still not a fan of the headlights and forward. I like the boxy look but it doesn't come off as a full-size SUV. The guy standing there has his head at least halfway over the vehicle. His eyes can look clear over it and I doubt he is 7ft tall.
  20. I just don't like that there is always a second or two delay after you hit the button to talk, then you tell it something, then another second or two delay. That is really inconvenient when you're having a conversation with a passenger.
  21. I would not be a fan of voice activated controls. I only use that for short, quick texts and occasionally to set a destination on my maps but I would not like voice activated HVAC and radio controls.
  22. I know Tesla has gotten a lot of flack for not having physical buttons in the center console area so what're your thoughts on a very similar idea here? Personally, I would prefer a few knobs. I would like temp and radio knobs for sure and probably a couple for each of those as well. Thinking about it more, maybe just a volume knob and a temperature knob for each passenger. Maybe just 3 knobs would get the job done. Location of the air and radio station could be on the screen.
