Yes! I just couldn't think of the word, LOL ??♂️. That's why I quoted it because I knew it wouldn't be a merger(in theory).

Jesus, I just don't get it. It isn't like he's "only" making 100k a year(only being for a exec). Making the exact amount they probably were paying is astronomical amount so why do you need to steal more? If you're that dissatisfied, ask for raises(I know it's a different situation being an executive) or look for a job elsewhere where you feel like you'll be valued better.

I'm all for keeping jobs around so if the theoretical "merger" were a thing, it would be great. Hopefully Tesla could take a few more notes on how to assemble vehicles before GM leaves them with the keys to the building.

I always think the same exact thing. I just don't understand it. What did he do wrong here? I don't remember reading anything on it other than a Nissan executive being arrested or whatever. I guess I should say, what was he spending the company money on?

If it's only for a plant for production, yeah. If it's anything more, there's nothing in it for GM. Tesla's patents are all public.

Luckily, how hard a truck can do work can also be met without a hideous front fascia.

A LOT. All of it is the front end. Everything else looks good and I love the bed step.

I absolutely agree! That's about the only thing that I love about this truck as of now. The gasoline V8 and 10spd for the Duramax are both intriguing though.

Volt powertrain and affordable haven't gone hand-in-hand yet. I don't see it coming too soon. -

Absolutely! I cannot imagine the kink in the hose this is causing automakers to sort through. I actually think sensing animals or humans crossing the road is easier to identify and avoid than the surface of the road or standing water.

I was actually recently just talking about this with somebody. I don't remember if it was here or with a coworker, lol. It's relatively easy to follow GPS, lines, cars, and even searching for people crossing roads but inclement weather sounds like a whole 'nother ball game. How will they handle snow and heavy rain??

The Audis don't really make sense as there are the S versions of both of those and an RS for the 7. Add those up and they're likely not on that list and it's all the same car. It's a shame about the 4C as it's a beautiful car but I completely understand why that's on the list and #1. Also, a lot of those aren't US exclusive. I know a lot of those luxury brands sell in Europe. I know the CT6 sells in China as well...not sure on those numbers. Yes. Yes. Yes. Their marketing is dog$h! outside of Cadillac.

From the little I've read on it, it seems like a more powerful Edge Sport.. It isn't exactly "sporty" or "ST" worthy. I also don't think a buyer of an Edge ST really wants a super tight suspension setup. If they did, they probably aren't buying an SUV..or a sporty one at that. I think something like that would be perfect for me. "Hello 45k? Where are you?"

I think every enthusiast is surprised there hasn't been a V-Sport or true V version of the Escalade already... GM has had plenty of different engines to drop in there then they just need to work on a break and suspension package. It seems like a obvious big money maker.

Do you want me to go to any forum for any car and LOOK for issues? I could probably find issues with your Escalade if I went to a forum and looked for them. Yes, Ford is taking care of the buyers of past models, at least. They extended the warranty, if the issue isn't fixed after three visits to a dealership they buy it back, they cover towing and repairs on it.. big fck up to let it get to that point.

The transmission issues were not on the ST cars and the gasket issue was RS only.

They made one LOOK sporty. They didn't actually make a sporty SUV. Absolutely but it should be compared to vehicles like the Grand Cherokee, Edge, 4Runner, and Murano.
