    I'm pretty sure that's correct. This package just seems like a way to con the consumer out of $3500(the package is worth about $1500, imo).

    Modern unions are mostly trash. Overpaid for their work and god forbid they do more work than their very specific work title.. I had a buddy work for a union for a bit and he legitimately got written up for doing MORE work because it was somebody else's job(who wasn't there) and he just did it do get it done so work could continue to flow. They're fckn trash these days. The initial intent was great but they've turned into a joke.

    "Called the AT4 Off-Road Performance Package, it will add a 6.2L V8, performance air intake, cat-back performance exhaust system, and a set Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires with 18-inch alloy wheels" This isn't even an appearance package though. It's literally an intake, cat-back exhaust and tires for $5,000. I mean I guess you get a different set of 18" wheels.. but it already comes with 18" wheels with the AT4 on "all terrain" tires.

    My assumption would be that there wasn't a warning in the manual stating you shouldn't hang young children from your key chain without repercussions.

    Oh I agree. The GLS definitely outsells it globally because as far as I know the 'Slade is US only.. This is I only care about . ? I don't think anybody is expecting them to rest on their laurels since the new Navigator came out and has stolen all of its attention, finally.

    It also sells 2:1 to the GLS ;) Maybe.. Just maybe Chevy gets a Cadillac engine..

    5 grand for intake and exhaust? Doesn't the AT4 already come with some sweet off-road tires? What value am I missing? This looks like a raping from GM to the buyers.

    Oh IRS, I definitely agree. I was only thinking you were talking about the lack of DOHC for some reason. Yeah, IRS should have been available quite awhile ago. Especially with how much money that thing makes.

    It probably is but at the same time, what's wrong with it? Is it them being cheap in the Escalade or them balling out in the much cheaper Camaro/Silverados?

    The engine not being DOHC never really surprised me and I don't think it was a necessary upgrade but I am surprised they never adopted IRS sooner.

    The current 'Slade also has a new transmission, 10spd. WAAAAY superior to the POS 9spd. What, did they forget a gear??? I don't think the 2:1 sales of the Escalade to GLS is worrying anybody over at GM. They have a new gen out testing on the streets as well. *knock knock* Mercedes, did ya forget a gear?

    Hahahaha baby steps... baby steps.. I enjoy driving different things too much to think of something I wouldn't drive once. The only thing I could possibly think of would be something like a two gear lever shifting old semi and that's strictly because I don't know how, not because I don't want to. That game was terrible to watch... Not because the loss but because they looked slow and tired the entire game. They just never looked into it and that's a problem. Colts are a good team though. I don't want to take anything away from them. They're on a tear and I would like to see them make the playoffs and disrupt the powerhouses.

    Yeah and the V6 is down 60hp and 100tq to the old-ass pushrod 6.2. Why would I compare that? It's a huge vehicle.

    Holy sht, you're right. The much $h!tier, larger vehicle, heavier vehicle does need an engine upgrade because the 6.2 gets worse fuel economy doesn't it? Seems more like Mercedes needs to upgrade.

    Absolutely! And it isn't like 450hp/500tq(whatever the exact numbers are) in either the 'Slade or 'Gator is a slouch by any stretch. They're still low 14's vehicles.. That's damn quick for vehicles the size of a house.
