Yeah just tweaks to the front and rear. I don't think the '15's looked aged yet but the '14's look almost 20 years older.

Industry News: The Run of Near-Record Sales Appears to be Ending
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
True but they also cut prices to compensate some of that. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a25725993/tesla-price-cut-model-3/ -
You might not like the Edge, and that's fine, but I don't see how it looks "exactly" like the EcoSport. I don't find the new Chevy and Ford offerings as questionable.. They seem perfectly acceptable in the CUV-heavy market.

Ford HD Platinum has earned their brand recognition of a work horse. They have earned their right to price them at 100k. Well, this company will successfully sell 3 trucks. 100k truck market, HD market, green market. They've successfully narrowed the market down so small. FWIW, a fully loaded F450 Limited is 90k before adding the ticky tack add-ons.
-
Tesla didn't introduce a 100% concept until they had their feet under them slightly with some brand recognition. Remember, their first vehicle was a modified Lotus crammed with batteries and motors. Who in their right mind drops 100k on a fully electric HD truck? There's no way the 35k towing/5000lb payload is going to be even close to "affordable" for 99% of the people in the market for an HD truck.

It's another company that's all smoke and mirrors until there's a product on the road owned by anybody who isn't on the board. Anybody can take preorders and never return the cash once the company $h!s the bed. Tesla.. Where have you been?
-
Another EV concept.. I'll wait to be excited until they actually produce them. 35k towing capacity? Yeah, right.
-
They're just nice entry/exit heights.. Trucks aren't the same. My dad's Taco I have to step up into and jump out of a bit and it's stock height. Getting in and out of that isn't as nice as I feel like it should be for a "small" truck.

RIGHT?!? *sigh*

I'm still on the younger side of life and getting in and out of a smaller SUV/CUV is much preferred than getting out of my Focus. I thought my Escape's seat height was perfect for my height. The step in and out was almost exactly my standing height so I didn't step up or down to get in and out of it. I want another.

GM News: Mark Reuss Takes On Role of President of GM
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in General Motors
Any compact car? Just the fillup process itself of 10-11 gallons doesn't take more than 3 minutes. It probably takes as long to put the card in, type in zip code or PIN and tell it I don't want a car wash as it does to put the gas itself in. I'll be getting gas in the next couple of days. Hopefully I can remember to time it.- 57 replies

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that either. I would hope for their sake they have a nice new universal platform for these.

I believe that's Baby Bronco territory but I think it's supposed to be boxier like a Renegade or Soul.
-
I thought the same but it can be tough to get the size perspective via pictures so I figured it was just me.
-
According to Autoblog it is supposed to be the next Escape. https://www.autoblog.com/photos/2020-ford-escape-spy-shots-0/#slide-7494942

The "baby Bronco" should fill that role whenever it arrives. Did you see the Explorer ST lurking in the background as well?

That's not very factual.. Seems like biased can get in the way when trying to weed though information. ?? That 12th was going to be for you... I would be a very satisfied individual if the Cowboys blew out the Seahawks. I just don't see that happening. Seattle is good, Dallas is good. Both are strong defensively and "okay" offensively.
-
I'll take a 11 Busch Lights, please. ?
-
So much "YES" here. Haha well I am quite pessimistic about my Cowboys.. I have almost zero confidence they can come away with a win 1: against a playoff quality team 2: in the playoffs.

Bad information is just as bad, imo. If you're not receiving accurate information what good is it? You're then spreading inaccurate information. It is literally fanboying in the car world spread to the real world. I could tell you a Mustang has a 5.0 liter V8 that's 600hp. It's partially correct and partially incorrect so spreading that is just garbage. What good does that do to the next person who doesn't know what is and is not real? How do you know what exactly to pick apart and what is accurate?

https://www.businessinsider.com/most-and-least-biased-news-outlets-in-america-2018-6 Remain ignorant or receive bad information.. Hmmm which is worse?
-
I completely agree with you.
-
I truly believe that if it is Fox or CNN it is biased because they pretty much only post biased information. I wouldn't believe anything either news outlet posts. Their stuff must lean their direction in order to post it. The outlet posting it. I'm not avoiding "the other side's" news outlet. I avoid them both. I don't believe the consumer can inform a non-biased opinion like that. Political parties. Left/liberal/democrat = same Right/conservative/republican = same And this sums up why those extremely Left and Right news outlets are garbage and I won't give them my ad/click revenue.

So @Drew Dowdell is a CNN guy. Interesting. I thought you had more respect for yourself than that.
