    Well they're matching the 2.0t and 2.4 with their 9spd which the 2.4 hasn't don't well with that combo yet, right? I dig how it looks and I would seriously consider one but..FCA.. I just wouldn't trust it as much as probably any other automaker.

    With those power figures so similar I'm curious about the characteristics of each engine/trans combo. Mostly because the 5hp advantage but 15tq disadvantage the Duramax has just sounds like a slightly awkward swing when it comes to diesels so I'm curious what their dynos look like. Hood looks GREAT. Now, if they could NOT outline the vent in chrome that would be nice.

    Considering I think the JGC looks great, this does as well. Not too crazy about the interior but I think the exterior is a little homerun for the segment.

    I don't think it will increase sales but there is no way a dealer selling less than 1 car a week is making enough on it's own to profit so I'm assuming they're getting money from the mother ship therefore is they decrease their sales slightly by closing doors they will increase their margins and profits with lower total sales. That's just my guess.

    Buyers of the Bolt will realistically be in the red if we're talking about actually saving money over a 5 year span and likely even extended out with the 10k price premium over a similar compact/economy car getting 40mpg+. $10,000 is a lot of money in gas. I believe this is what @Wings4Life was trying to say. Instead of making a range of 400 miles but still an unreasonable price jump make them cheaper but maintain their current range(I think 200 is a pretty magical number that a lot of consumers will see as a welcome sign and I don't think range below that would be too beneficial) I love the technology, don't get me wrong. But they aren't actually saving anybody money quite yet.

    Hey-o guys, So this past weekend the big dog NHRA guys were in town Fri-Sun. I've been wanting to go for quite awhile now so a few friends and I took the day off work Friday and went to practice/qualifying. First off, the nitro cars are absolutely insane. If you ever have a chance to go watch these cars, DO IT! Quickest passes in the 3.60's@325ish. The feels and sounds of those cars passing is like nothing else I've ever seen or felt. I have no clue how the crews and drivers can be around those daily and now have serious hearing loss/issues. I wore ear protection knowing they were loud..still didn't expect that loud! Here are some pictures from the day. Not much and they are all from my phone and zooming on a phone isn't the greatest. We sat a little past the 60' mark. Right around where they would do their burnouts to(well where they would stop rolling). A little Idea of how freakin' massive those tires are.

    lol I turn 28 this week.. I never used to have allergies but apparently as you age it's common to adapt them.. major bummer.

    F150 Lariat FX4/Sport - built to what I want was 53k.. It's an F150 so a discount is inevitable so I'll jut round to 50k for simplicity. This exact color scheme, black grille, the grey wheels, white, and tint the windows. GT350 - Not 'R' as the '17's already come with the performace pack..and..well..I'm just trying to save 10k = 60k w/ the electronics package. I would either want white of this color compboination. Usually I'm not a fan of blue white and black all together so I'm not sure. Triumph Street Triple - 10k So I'm left with 55k at this point. No clue what I should do with the money. ATS-V starts at 60,500, CTS V-Sport starts at 61,000, Chevy SS definitely fits in there but I wanted something a little classier, less brutish. Kind of like a date night kind of vehicle. Well, After building some CTS V-Sports The only thing I added/changed was the black wheels so It really was still only 61k. I could find that somewhere for 55k, right? I'm also not usually a blue vehicle fan but this looks sharp in this color.

    Looks VERY good! It has the corporate face like the rest of the Chevy cars but that isn't a bad thing to me. I think it looks really really good. ..seats still don't fold flat though..?

    Tired of the rumble of the exhaust?!?!? lol Sounds like a typical woman.. That's the one thing probably none of here would get tired of. I understand where you two are coming from more now. Thanks for the clarification, dfelt.

    No I understand that. I don't love just one brand/style of vehicles either. What I was getting at was if you are currently willing to downsize your vehicle for the sake of saving a lot of money on fuel why are you driving a Trailblazer SS right now anyway when you could cut that fuel bill in half(on the easy side - not too difficult to find something to get 28mpg compbined) and drive something still probably larger and roomier than the Bolt. And I understand that still leaves you with a fuel bill much much much higher than the electricity would cost for the Bolt.

    If you're contend driving something small and efficient for the savings why would you be driving a Trailblazer SS to begin with? I don't understand that part...

    Yeah, screw the D3 in this regard. If you make a better product you'll do fine and put them out. This only shows me the D3 are a bunch of babies afraid to make a great product.

    I think this would actually be a huge hit. They would have to make it very very retro though. If nothing else it would be way cool of them..lol

    All this discussion between the Bolt and Model 3.. All I know is the Bolt looks like a lame piece of sh!t in comparison. It might perform magically(and it sounds like it is) but it looks terrible in comparison.

    The only difference between the 3 and Bolt are FWD vs RWD, right? Why can't they be compared? If one metric difference is key why would you compare a 100mile range car to a 240 range car? Right now they are all in their own leagues, for the most part. They have to be to carve our their own niche as to not even have a competitor and own the segment.

    Not the same thing at all. One was done unintentionally. They thought they made the product to do it's intended purpose and it turns out that it is failing and the other was completely intentionally frauding customers, shareholders, and everybody else for that matter who breaths. Their vehicles were specifically designed to circumvent the law. And we will never know how many people die or get ill from too much exhaust fumes being pumped into the air but to think it is zero is being pretty oblivious for how many vehicles are on the road(VW diesels that is).

    Hey guys, I have a buddy of mine who's typically a Chevy guy but he came across a 2012 F150 XLT EcoBoost. What I'm really looking for is are they reliable... I know it's kind of a loaded question but it's a little difficult to get some answers when Googling it because most that have 150,000 trouble free miles aren't the ones online posting about how reliable their truck is. The ones posting are the ones with premature issues. So, does anybody have any first hand or friends/family have first hand with any of that generation 3.5 EcoBoosts that have issues relating to the engine. AND/OR anybody that has put a lot of miles on their truck without issues. The truck in question has 69,000 miles and according to the site(local dealer) it has been maintained every 5000 miles at that dealer.     That entire platform has sold less than the mustang last I looked. So while it gets spread out it still sells less units.
