  6. I would assume they would use something just like this on the "full" EV model as well and your concern is justified, imo. Yes, one tool will not have a huge draw but maybe a few people are working off the boss' truck.. it adds up.

  13. Dang, I dig the look of the CTS's. I don't blame him for wanting to stick to an SUV though.. I'm not too old yet and still just like the ease of entry and exit of a smaller SUV(basically anything that isn't BOF-large) over a car.

  15. Oh I agree. I was just saying the required solar panels is a great start but, like you said, how can 15 years' worth of new homes be able to support everybody? they do need a massive overhaul to do what they're claiming.
  16. The one and only gripe i have with the Gladiator Rubicon and Colorado ZR2 is they don't offer any more power/torque in those trims. They make these badass, off-road capable trucks but they're actually the slowest trims because big wheels, tires, lifts, and(assuming) weigh the most with heavy duty off-road equipment. I think that's one reason I LOVE the Raptor is because it's got its off-road goodies but it's also the quickest F150 you can buy. Okay, the last part was true until like 2019 when they stuck the High Output 3.5 in the Limited F150's as well. I don't need or expect a rocket ship but something that's pretty quick also. Per MT, they tested a 2018 Canyon Denali 4X4 with the new 3.6 and 8spd at 6.8 seconds to 60mph and 15.2 second @ 90mph quarter mile. Per MT, they tested a 2018 Colorado ZR2 with the new 3.6 and 8spd at 7.2 seconds to 60mph and 15.5 second @93mph quarter mile. Cut a half second off the ZR2's time(1/4 mile) and it's properly done, imo. That's pretty crappy. Is there a chance you could demand a new door skin? Used ones are dropping to around 30k! I think a diesel one would be BAD-ASS(even though they're slower than dogsh!t).
  17. FWIW, every new home built in California requires solar panels. It started this year. It's a great start, at least.

  21. It's annoying living in IL with local fuel prices(87 octane) at $2.24/gallon and I can cross the river to Missouri and the last I saw last week was $1.79/gallon. I ride the bus to work though so I never take advantage of the much lower fuel prices... they just taunt me.
  22. So as of 2014 these calls were only 15.3% of calls. 3,348,000 total calls and 513,000 were fuel related.. I don't think anybody thinks that rate is really "high".

  24. My guess would probably be 2 model years after the Hummer, maybe like 18 months or so. So, maybe the same year or the following year as the F150.
  25. I guess I completely forgot about the profile reveal and that there is a bed to it. Yeah, it sounds roughly 14-18 months ahead of Ford's. I don't know about you but I have a feeling the Hummer will be a pretty decent step up in pricing than the F150, but that's just guessing. I don't believe Ford ever said the all electric would be on sale Summer 2021. That's probably their hybrid you're thinking of.
