There doesn't need to be a merger of the Spark and Sonic. Just ditch the Spark. Sonic sales were actually pretty brisk until GM decided to confuse customers with an even smaller model. The sonic is better in every way while still having that small stature that's good for the urban dweller types.

You really need to inform yourself instead of just trolling GM as usual. What are YTD sales of Mercedes EV models?

They are not sold in every state but that is about to change (if it hasn't already). For the month, it was GMs #2 seller.

My best friend back east just bought one a month ago and loves it. He's a photographer so he travels a lot and he says he is regularly getting 50-55 MPG mixed driving and loves it. He echoes the ease of which it is to set up CarPlay. A huge plus for him as well.

I was about to say the same thing about that front end. Just hideous from all angles.

GM already has the Colorado ZR2 (which is being used alongside the Raptor and Rebel in the latest MT test) and sorry to break it to you, but the Bronco (by the look of early spy shots) isn't going to be anything special, which is a shame because I always liked the Bronco. GMC could use a true off road model but seeing as how that is such a niche market, are they really losing out in this CUV crazy market? Most likely not. Hell I can't blame them. Why invest for the twelve people who actually take their Wranglers off road? There are tons of them here in Arizona yet most are as squeaky clean as an S Class because they have never seen anything close to off road duty.

Move on.
-
See the part of my post where I said "move on" because I'm done with it.
-
You are 100% wrong on your "no reason" claim because you clearly don't see the reason why I said what I said, which had nothing to with the Murano vs Bolt roominess. I laid out the problem with your first assessment and you took it as something else entirely. The argument is over and done with. Move on.
-
@ccap41--I know it's not a literal thing but it did show the attitude you tried to have with me just because I didn't agree with you.
-
Says the person who told me to "GTFO" like I don't have the right to speak. If you don't like me disagreeing with you, that is your problem and your problem alone. Seriously. You need to get over yourself and move on with your day.
-
You keep telling yourself whatever it is you have to tell yourself. I made my statement and I stand by it. No one is following you around. I was the first one commenting on the Blazer thread so it seems like you are just being paranoid. I, nor anyone else for that matter, are not here just to agree with everything someone says. And who gives two $h!s about "likes"? You have stated in the past that they are not a big thing so why make that argument now? "Likes" aren't $h!. Your first post here, however, shows the attitude you came in here with. And for the record, I went back to the actual subject of that thread so...
-
Now, while I'm not happy about the Blazer name going on yet another CUV, it is not surprising. Nissan did it with the Pathfinder and Ford did it with the Explorer. These are the times right now and maybe one day, actual SUV fans will get some more choices (looking at you Bronco).
-
Me? Who said to "GTFO" because I gave a counter argument? That would be you. It wasn't a comparison other than ccap ragging on dfelt CUVs remarks while not understanding why he would love the Bolt (which has been explained by dfelt many times in the past).
-
For its size, it has excellent cargo flexibility and it has been pointed out by just about every major publication.
-
Bias has literally nothing to do with the fact that he fits in the Bolt just fine while most CUVs do not fit the same bill.
-
Then you have never paid attention to what dfelt has said regarding the room in the Bolt. He fits in it just fine because of a tall greenhouse (I believe he even provided a picture of him in it as reference, on the previous page). Not sure what is so hard to understand about it, so much that a non-sensical and snide remark had to be made about it, all because you couldn't make the distinction in his comparison.
-
The Honda CR-V doesn't have that rakish back (and never has) and has been a top seller for years mostly because of it's versatility in the cargo space in a small package. Personally I think offering a choice between the rakish and a more traditional box style is a good thing and GM is filling both needs. Show me where that is a problem.

Context can be a challenge for those looking to just antagonize others. This why actual user experience trumps paper experience.
-
And just so I am clear here, I am not taking a dump on anyone's preference here. You get what you like and shouldn't have to worry about what anyone else thinks about your buying decisions. I just have a general disdain for CUVs for many reasons. Peace all.

And one doesn't pretend to be something it is not. That's the key difference here. I had a ton of floor space in my Magnum but height was an issue and it was long and body, the lliftgate was the issue (although the unique design of the loft gate mitigated most issues unlike the Muranos). However, the Magnum did this without having to increase its ride height and If I'm going to look for something with more top to bottom space, then a Murano is not the answer. A Durango, on the other hand, would fit the bill without having to go full size. For the record, the Magnum has seven more cubic feet of space with the seats down (74 vs. 67) so I rest my case about the fluff over function part of CUVs like the Murano. Going to disagree there because the GLE is hideous and a perfect example of its uselessness as far as utility goes. Coupe style CUVs need to go.
