  1. Not a surprising move but giving the Blazer name to yet another CUV is just insulting to the name.
  2. Me thinks someone was just trolling lol.
  3. Because that is the last one made and it was in the 80's not 1975. This is long overdue and just in time for future Chinese ownership.
  4. Yet I still like both cars. You are correct though sir.
  5. Didn't realize I needed permission to merely state the truth of what happened before you left.
  6. You're hurting my feelings lol. I'm merely stating the facts. Funny thing is that there have no issues like that since you (and a few others) left. Coincidence? Certainly doesn't seem like it given your snide remark. Best of luck to you and your your future endeavors ccap, wherever it may be.
  7. It loses even more fun when folks admit to blatant trolling, actually brag about said trolling, and then act surprised because they get called out for said trolling and try to turn it on everyone else.
  8. Stop acting like everyone has a simple hatred when they are only talking about the facts. Jeep has more value than everything combined else in the FCA stable. It's simple economics, not simple hatred. We wont even get into the silly RAM vs GMC comparison as your pointless Buick and Cadillac remark. That's just deflection on your part. For example, Buick is only 0.7% off of this time last year so they are clearly not "basically useless".
  9. If you needed anymore proof that the only brand worth any kind money under FCA is Jeep, this right here is it. This is what happens when everything else under their U.S. Umbrella gets neglected to the point of obsoletence.
  10. Yes, that what it is </sarcasm>. It's not because you also tend to look at them through rose colored glasses while ignoring the mass dumping they have taken on Dodge and Chrysler, and to a certain extent RAM. Jeep is the only reason why they are making any money. As far as the Giulia goes, what were the sales "expectations" to begin with? It easy to "exceed" expectations when you had zero sales in this country for a few decades. Just saying, how high was the sales bar to begin with?
  11. It is tiny, even for me and I'm only 5'10".
  12. Wrong on literally all counts. You don't have to share body panels to have sales overlap. I'm not even going to comment on the rest because you have a habit of using imaginary numbers to suit your argument like saying that the current Tahoes price positions itself as luxury when it doesn't. Clearly the luxury position is occupied by the Escalade and to a lesser extent the Yukon Denali.
  13. Oh, I'm not denying the overlap but SMK criticizes GM freely on it while ignoring the fact that Benz does the same thing if not worse.
  14. Mercedes models overlap and compete with each other all the time. This is a fact that you seem to forget while criticizing GM yet again for the same thing.
  15. Not surprising to me as most people don't seem to even use it. And Mercedes should not be under $30K yet we will soon have the A Class. See how that can get turned around?
  16. In that market, reliability is all most folks need which why they choose Corollas over Jettas. For the record, I drove my buddies 2014 Jetta recently and it was "meh" to me but in fairness, I am just not a VW fan at all.
  17. Too bad they made the front end uglier. Otherwise, nice updates. Lowering the end price via option changes will absolutely increase sales. Not sure where you get such silliness from.
  18. A 1 Series sedan? Really? It seemed to work so well the last they sold one here so hell, might as well screw it up again I guess.
  19. No worries. Just looked a little strange.
  20. Not sure why you quoted me as my comment was about the Model X being an SUV when it really isn't.
  21. Exactly my point in another thread. It is not even close to an SUV and barely qualifies as a CUV.
  22. The Bentayga and the CTS-V have an indetical 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds, with one being a W12 and the other being a V8.
  23. And you know this because a Yukon has actually been tested there right? Oh wait. All I know is that a mid-engine Vette will eat them all for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and that is what this thread is ACTUALLY about.
