    Not yet, but unless people come in looking for it, everyone id getting the new Compass anyways. Doubt they will go that high, but 35% off could be quite possible......

    Very true....though the good news it whether this year or next, something bigger will show up the the family I am figuring. Losing my auto suppiler job limited my choices this year to more of a budget than I wanted. And between that and the economy, not sure I want anything near 30k right now. Kinda why a used Cruze makes a good choice. (and focus would have too, if not for the dual clutch) Though I do have a soft spot for the Patroit (love boxy jeeps)-the fact the FCA is struggling to sell them makes them a nice choice as I figure the rebates are going to go higher the the 4500 on them now...

    Funny this comes up....I've been thinking about that as well. Though I have taken it one step further... Small cars are getting cheap, but the prices are even better on slightly used cruzes-I have already seen some 16 Limited (old style) floating in the low teens....not too bad for nearly new! Been shopping these and could pull the trigger on one, as my fleeting is aging (11, 13, 14 years) and a nice cheap ride makes it easier to get a new one next year . Now granted that thought could change, as FCA is having a tougher time inloading their CUVs right now, and leftover Compasses or Patriots might come as a nice deal as well.....

    Agree with ya...though I already thought the Cascada was dead....think I have seen like one in the last 6 months.... I think people will be surprised how much may end of Chinese built.... Still waiting for the move of the Cruze to Mexico...unless they want to keep bleeding money there...but At least the Nox/Terrain/Envision will end up there..... Hoping the "new" be lighter on it's feet, and the sport car it should have become... Though I hope rumor of a baby caddy will the Sonic's replacement....

    Sure..the list does change a bit-helps I hear stuff out of the plants too... Impy- D Ham just dropped it (and also sending it to Korea, which didn't work out) Other production is dropping fast.... Sonic- With the being the middle child here, I hear that the might be moving something else into the plant to build. And they shipped out the "next gen" prototype too...... Either the XTS or CTS Buick Lacrosse

    Back in the olden days GM could afford to keep everything around......like when they could give away cavaliers and cobalts because of the nice profits on trucks....but times are not like that anymore... I can look at GM's lineup and tell you that at least 6 (should be no more) models that will disappear within the next 2-3 years. It;s not all doom and gloom though, as I'm sure some could come back later. Didn't take long for small trucks to come back. It's one of the few times being global helps you out a bit- I can even see automakers working together again on sharing more models at some point.... VW is paying for those mistakes they made....and I would never underestimate them too much....

    You might have to tell that to my neighbor and the issues he is having with his new CRV. While Honda can be good, they are far from perfect.... Besides the Ru', those up in sales slapped on the discounts....I expect pretty much everyone to follow that starting this month.....the 18 model year is not looking good at all......

    I was mad, but also realized how bad the small car market is going to take in the next year or so. GM is going to wish they could build the Cruze in mexico! I was hateful at first too-but the auto market is about to take a sharp hit soon. They will have to save money any way they can. As much as I hate the idea of chinese focuses, it is a way to save.... And as far as the above company-just goes to sound many, many OEM parts will be made in China soon....

    Kinda sad....I did like the idea of it coming over....as it always had a classic look and was nice to drive. That said, wouldn't make sense to have a Polo starting near 20 grand here either.....

    Was hearing some rumors of changing the old two bar headlight to either a more 70s or 80s like single one. Kinda hope that it is true....
