  1. Don't think it will be too long at all....
  2. True....but I still think folks like that really don'y need a car anyways.....
  3. I totally agree......my thought is there that the lose both their car and the deal.... because paybacks....
  4. Can't disagree with you there....granted, I actually like the base models as the new tech really doesn't interest me....plus I can customize them to my liking.
  5. Wow that is a good price!
  6. This is just the start.....China is going to become a very, very interesting market in the next few years. And unstable.....
  7. Always why value pricing is a bad idea...... Helps too when the prices keep going up...
  8. Nice...sure sounds like fun!
  9. Besides the politics (do believe people are still freaked out about that) I agree hands down with everything you said. Thinking GM forecasted a bit higher than they should have...but I think after some wheeling and dealing-things will right themselves... they will be just fine.
  10. Wow...easy folks....... Dave nailed it with the first post. There is no other excuse. This is hitting ALL automakers, just some more than others. -Crazy election has has people worried....and worried more about the economy - sedans/ coupes are on the decline-everyone and their grandma wants to sit up high. Hell, my old ass wants to sit up high too..... -new and better products are on the way. Folks know, and are waiting... -We have not seen much in the way of deals with sales currently. People are in deal mode, and also waiting....(heck, I may pick off an old Nox' or good lease/buy deal on a Cruze) You guys are reading way, way to much into this... Being here for more than a decade, I've watched sales go up and down for all different reasons. Throwing something simple as a little cash on the hood will help........
  11. It's funny this comes up after I just dropped my son off at school. I passed a brand new Nox , and the rear really reminds me of the Traverse. I do like the front end though! It's kinda shaped like the Tuson though...which is not a not thing. I get the feeling that the new Traverse is going to look a bit like the Santa Fe, but with a chevy nose. While it looks good on the Nox, I'm curious to see how it does on a larger car.....
  12. That is the toughest one, I think-the ones between the owners and VW. Lots of things that it could be based on....
  13. Me too....should be a very interesting truck!
  14. It's because the automakers are getting smarter.....most are not willing to put that dime out and it's just easier to release it to the net or social media, and drive the curious into the showrooms to make some money. There's no money in shows much anymore....just window shoppers. Besides us auto folk, most of john q public is more interested in what is cool and what they can afford, not the other fluff that comes along with it. Now us car folk, we just drink it all in.... Always wanted to be a press guy there!
  15. Yep, I agree with you there! I think this will never fly well for two reasons: 1- There needs to be at least HALF of these cars out there to make it work. Stuff like this works better in a controlled enviroment. 2- Stupid folk- You're going to still have the "hold my beer and watch this" crowd, along with the folks who just laugh at the road rules. An increase in public transportation for these folks would help too.....
  16. Agreed. Not sure if these guys are going to even be able to get out of the gate yet!
  17. Sadly, not sure it's going to help the stupid ones.... Thinking the bus is going to be their choice ride!
  18. Gee, I wonder why I was right....helps to have some products to show......
  19. Nope, I already know it is toast.... Unless they can somehow pull money magically out of their ass-it's not happening. Don't expect too much on the Dodge car front either.....
