    I'd agree....and a great color to boot.... Also thinking the Verano would be more trip friendly as well....would be my choice of the two.

    Yes-The DCT. It's a piece....there is no way around it. You know it's bad when the folks who work at the plant tell you to get a stick........ Don't get me wrong- I don't hate the car. I love the look of the hatch, and enjoy the way it drives. Barring the DCT, one hatch would already be in my driveway. I got the chance to borrow a 16 hatch for a little while, and guess what- it still acts up!!! These DCTs really frown upon city driving.....it's not as bad with it is on the freeway. And no matter what they do, there really does not seem to be a long term fix. And it's even worse for those who do not know how to drive a DCT...... Now, if you get a stick- enjoy the ride......

    Yeah, no Bobo lately.... Yeah, when they get over ten years, they just grow on you.... We've had one almost 14 years, the other nearly 13. Then the Balt is creeping up on 9.... Will finally be a new car in the stable soon.....

    Man I need to stop in here more often....was wondering why things were quiet there! I totally understand the family thing....why I have been away at times myself. Kinda like @Drew Dowdell, I plan to pick things up myself.... Besides, I've missed the banter......

    Saw this a little late...glad you are okay Cap! Having a family and seeing just how well it held up may even push me over to the other blue side....though I think the Nox would do good too! It's kinda following the Escape guys (like you ) that has really peaked my interest in one, plus I love the update it got this year, Though in my case, I like them simple (then add what I want)-so for me it would just be a base S model....... And nothing wrong with VW....just in my case I need bigger!

    Yeah, I still find myself looking at them....always liked the Imprenza wagon/hatch...simple, yet effective! And I think Christmas does get old....but the one thing I do enjoy is the family time. It's the only thing that I look forward too....it's also why I hate currently working in retail....pushing hard to get into something I actually enjoy.....
