  1. GNX is catchy, and would likely stick in a younger target market's mind better than 'Super' or 'Grand National.' GNX just sounds really cool, and this thing would run circles around the previous GNX, so I have no idea what the issue would be.

Aw that's a shame. I've never been in all those vehicles from that period so I had no idea. Well, all I can do is wish you luck in your searches, and do remember you still have that sweet Olds.

I figured the large amount of G-Bodies in that era would have made swapping easier. Have you considered a "freak" similar to DF's '300 Intrepord' that takes the best of every similar platform mate for something one of a kind?
  4. I doubt people who are unemployed and making ends meet really give a sh*t about what people think is "trendy", anyways. God, I hate that word.
  5. I'd have to say this is a very classy way to do it. Would people here have preferred Holden send all those fabricated parts to the dump, and lose money? I don't think so. Importing them to NA would simply cost way too much money that GM doesn't have. At least they'll be something of a last hurrah, and that we'll be able to at see them, something I didn't think would even happen.
  6. I can't be categorized!
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. I get pure, crunchy peanut butter from the Overwaitea bulk section. No sugar, no added oil, just peanut. I've found the ones with added sugar and oil to be just plain nasty.
  9. Sending to North America was deemed unfeasible, so why hold it against Holden for using the parts? At least they'll make some money.

    Beat me to it.

Because my mom's Australian, we eat quite a bit of homemade fish and chips, with local salmon and halibut being the main staples. However, I'd have to say grilled Barramundi is my favorite and try and eat it as much as I can, whether I'm here or in Australia.
  12. If it's sound, and it's what you want, I'd say go and spoil yourself in it's big plush leather seats and easy ride. And if you head back to teaching, your students will really dig it, especially if you do this: :booyah:
  13. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...3&hl=frappr As you can see, we're a pretty interspersed bunch. The good news is that half of Canada's population is on this forum, according to this map.
  14. I thought C&G had a Frappr. And like DF said, C&G drives on a regular case would be great, but we're more or less limited to writing about rental cars, and while it would be really funny to see people try and beat others using hyperbole in describing a rental Grand Prix's suckiness, it wouldn't be too awesome either.
  15. I want to say Ford Econoline, but they were producing it when FDR was elected, so Toyota Yaris it is.
  16. Living a Lie - Don Dokken
  17. Clubbing seals constitutes 30% of Canada's economy. Without the hunt, or Bryan Adams, we'd starve.
  18. I know the amounts are generally insignificant, but these numbers are pretty depressing, especially since bills don't last long in circulation.
  19. Like others have said, it looks melted, at least in the pictures. I'm sure the lines will translate much better in the flesh.
  20. Why anyone would give their boss access to their Facebook page is beyond me.
  21. Cool read, and I was surprised how cheap the Fram's were. I actually think it's a Fram that was last installed in my truck, so I'll be sure use one of the competitors if I can.

I came in here thinking this, too.
  23. Talk about self-serving. But I'd say this was the funny bit: lol
