Intrepidation

Daimler bought Chrysler to learn how to share parts among its own cars. Before this every Mercedes was built with different parts. The idea behind the "merger" was that Chrysler got access to technology and platforms the Mercedes had and Mercedes got access to learn how to more efficiently and cost effectively build vehicles. Mercedes got what it wanted, Chrysler got some bits from the old E-Class and then was gutted and left for dead. Daimler and their increasing ugly vehicles can rot. Since Fiat only controls 35% I'm sure they can't just do that without Chrysler getting what it wants in return. Chrysler actually has control of what goes on, unlike while it was being controlled by Daimler.

When I was sick last week I was $h!ting butterscotch milkshakes for like 5 minutes straight each time. That was unpleasant.

So I've got someone's computer they asked me to look at (completely computer illiterate) and it's got this lovely error on startup "operating system not found" That's all it does...there's no options to enter setup or anything. I'm guessing HD or motherbaord. It's a strange computer. It's Dell case but the boot screen is HP, and it has two HDs. I'm not sure what the person who built it for him did, lol. I was just curious what you guys think is more likely. If it's not enough info, I don't have much else beyond it shows the HP logo and the goes to the error. I'm gonna pull out the two HDs and see if I can access them on my computer. Just wanted to know if you guys had any thoughts or suggestions.

I think it's all GM knows how to manage, because every other brand is a clusterf**k of mismanaged mediocrity.

Buick is staying, it has a good image, sells well in China, and is working towards repairing its image in the US. All GM needs is Chevrolet for basic/everyday cars, Cadillac for luxury cars, and Buick for premium cars that slot between the other two brands.

I prefer PayPal. It's secure and easy to use. and much faster than writing a check and sending it through the mail. I agree transferring funds takes linger than I'd like, which my only real gripe.

So in other words: for the moment I can still get my good cheaper from newegg and it's not going out of business.

Well not to hijack your thread but I was called out to snowblow the damn sidewalk because the plows pushed the snow over all of the area which I cleared. So I'm annoyed to start with but whatever. Go to the driveway and get the snowblower out of the garage. To get it from the garage to the driveway I have to get it between the van and my car. We had ice last week and no one bothered to help me clear it besides one car spot and then gave up. Fast forward to today and the snowblower slips and slides into my car and leave 2 lagrge scrapes in it. Let's just say I threw the shovel very hard and very far, and nearly broke the handlebars off the snowblower.

I think the bottom line is that there's a time to be a smartass/jackass, which everyone here is good at, and there's a time to be respectful. And I think this is one of those times where this: ...was uncalled for. Just my :twocents:

Again you are wrong, seems to be a trend. The Flex an MKS are based on the D platform, and the Fusion is based on the Mazda6 architecture. Facts are so silly aren't they?

Since you probably need, help, I'll point you in the right direction. From the Insideline Comparison Test From C&D's Midsize Hybrid Comparison Test But facts are so overrated.

Or you have you blinders on, which based on your posts thus far today would be a good assumption. Compare the Flex, Fusion, and MKS their GM competitors (Traverse, Malibu, Lucerne [iMO]) and the interiors are far nicer? Don't take my word for it? Go read the reviews of these cars, or better yet go sit in them all back to back.

I love the (C, but yeah the face doesn't work as well on the MiTo.
