  1. I feel...so...violated...
  2. Don't be hatin' on the Shadow, it killed an Olds NintyEight.
  3. So I took the T&C, which we have lovingly dubbed "The Bus" to school today so I could taking my crappy bike and my RC plane to hang out with my friend. Too windy to fly and my bike is a piece of $h! (but I built it from parts I collected in grade school so hey), but I did finally get to vacuum it out. But I digress... After hanging out I went back to school for my last class, and parked at the public parking lot for the riverside park. It's not ment for students but they don't ticket and no one cares Anyway, I get my camera and flash drive and get out of the van and start to walk, when a woman asks if I could help her with her car. Apparently it won't start, it needs a jump. I say "sure no problem" and she points her her car, a Honda Pilot. I get in the van and move it into position. she and the other woman with her are very nice and polite but are totally clueless how to even use the jumper cables, but a t least they have a set...the van doesn't yet. I explain to them how to connect the cables and walk them through the procedure. I hop in the van, start it up and after a minute they start the Pilot and it fires up. Now...I like helping people, especially anything car related, and to top it off I just jumped a new Honda with my old Chrysler...the irony is delicious. She hands me a 10 dollar bill, which I hand back to her and say it's not necessary. She insists that I do, and not wanting to get into an argument about being given money, I finally accept. She told me she gave it to me because she thought I would have helped her anyway without pay (of course, no where on me or the van does it says "going rate for jumps is $10) Anyway, just thought I'd share. It's nice to do a kind favor, but it's even better when there's irony involved and getting a bonus is just icing on the cake...which I promptly put in the van for gas.
  4. Good times that was.
  5. Oh god man, I'd rather bicycle than drive a crapalier. If you're that desperate you can probably HAVE the Caravan since my mom is dying to get rid of it. Also there's an older Mercedes wagon for sale down the street. I mean...dude...FWD is one thing...Unibody is another...but a J-Body? DO you need von and BV to tell you how much they suck?!
  6. Order it online.
  7. That is correct.
  8. Speaking of sugar cane. Jones soda switched to it in all of their non-diet sodas. I dunno if their slogan is different now but when they made the change their slogan was "because corn is for cars." Best slogan ever.
  9. Game Fuel sucked, I still have a can of it. Never heard of Revolution though. I love Code Red.
  10. Oh, and the steering column bit, I much prefer infinite adjustments to 5 lousy ones that never seem to be just right.
  11. Energy drinks do nothing for me. Also, diet any soda sucks compared to the original. Coke is perfection and any variation of it is messing with perfection.
  12. Ouch, that's as bad as the Tundras or Civics having their wheels fall off.
  13. Pay the dollar and some change, have a spare made and keep it in your wallet.
  14. Such a silly reason to be put off by a car, especially since the Malibu is so good. My Intrepid has a turn signal/wiper stalk on the light controls on the dash. M girlfriend's Prizm has a stalk of for turn signals/lights and a stalk for the wipers. It's not as though it's some amazingly complex difference that requires quantum physics to figure out how to use. Either method is fine and gets the job done, though in all honesty I slightly prefer the two-stalk setup, especially the way highbeams work: pull on them to flash, push forward to keep them on. In the Dodge you pull back for both actions, but if you pull too far you accidentally leave them on...I've done it several times. Still, neither one is OMFG superior. I mean, it's a turn signal stalk, if that's the deal maker or breaker for a car, then your priorities are seriously out of order.
  15. I'll reuse this one:
  16. I wonder what Greek philosophers would think of what this country has done to Democracy and the idea "power of the people"
  17. Pass the fines onto the customer. Hey..what if all of the automakers put aside their differences and boycotted this bull$h!?
  18. O'rly? http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/21/chrysle...for-export-yet/
  19. I still hear reports that Chrysler is working with Chery on a small car...so what gives? Is the the Nissan-developed one for the US or are we going to have 2 small cars, one that sucks more than the other?
  20. Hey, my engine's going the right way.
  21. Is that thing still sitting in a lot?
