  1. Viper, possib;y Vharger (not all Charger sales are SE's after all).
  2. I wondered what happened to you, welcome back!
  3. That's awesome. I swear if one reviewer calls this thing "too big" I will personally have to find them and punch them.
  4. It amazes me just how clean the Challenger is compared to the Mustang.
  5. Doesn't GM sell the Epcia in Canada too and don't they compete in the same segment?
  6. It always disappoints me that automakers feel that the American market isn't worth having the sportier cars...that somehow we love floaty, disconnected driving experiences. Some do, but I personally would rather see more sporty handling vehicles here. Todays suspension systems allow for both good handling and ride quality.
  7. I still check the forum all the time but I have noticed it has become quieter, since about the time Fly left.
  8. I prefer real names because they give the car an identity verses a couple of letters and/or numbers. It works with Cadillac, if only because every other luxury brand does it that way, but not so much for Pontiac. Then again it must make creating names for the cars really easy.
  9. MyShift, we're commenting on it because we're, well, car enthusiasts...it's what we do (and some of us live across the pond). That's reason enough for me!
  10. I think the Challenger's biggest liability besides the massive wheel will be the non-defeatable stability control. The Camaro will no doubt have a fully defeatable system.
  11. Buick Riviera Are we allowed to do any emblems for any car or is it specifically GM related?
  12. Not surprising as the Challenger is a better car in almost every way. I'm curious to see how it does against the Camaro.
  13. Not to hijack the thread but what kind of shape is the engine in otherwise and what do you plan to do with the car? Have you thought about an engine swap to a 3.2 or 3.5? They're very easy to do as far as swaps go.
  14. Technically the 2.7 was available in the ES, as mine is an ES with the 2.7L. How many miles on it?
  15. Intrepid > Passat. IMHO What's under the hood of that baby? :AH-HA_wink:
  16. I'm watching the local news (Channel 5) and they are about to do a story on the Tacoma's frame failures. This is the first I've seen of it being reported by the mainstream media. You can see some of the older articles on Channel 5's website. http://www.thebostonchannel.com/search/for...amp;x=0&y=0 Tonight's story showed severely rotted Tacomas with holes in the frame. However it also says that the owners of one of the Tacomas are being denied the buyback because their truck "isn't bad enough yet". Other owners junked their truck because it was too rusty to be safe to drive four months before the buybacks were announced. Toyota told them they are SOL (but they're idiots anyway, they bough a newer Tacoma). The kicker is that they interviewed 2 experts who both warned that Toyota was risking seriously damaging its reputation for customer service and reliability buy not helping so many owners. Thought I'd share that.
  17. No more Chryslers eh? VeeDubs are nice...Time to unpimp zee auto...ja.
  18. The Cobalt's biggest shortcoming is the interior. It's cheap and brittle and makes the Caliber's interior feel nice by comparison. The design is alright but you're constantly reminded anytime you touch anything that this is a cheap car. The next issue for me is the electric steering. I just don't like the way it feels, but most people will never know or care and I could live with it in a non=performance model.
  19. They are making repairs to the white one and it should be able to reenter it.
  20. Not sure, Autblog posted it and they don't know if it's a leaked photo or a really good chop.
  21. I kinda of like i, but it really does look like an 80's retrofuturistic concept. This however, I like:
  22. What the hell is that thing in the trunk of that Civic? A transwarp core?
  23. It looks really good from profile, witth nice sculpting, but the front needs work. There's a massive, gaping hole up front that ruins the entire design.
