  1. Trunk release on lower dash + keyfob + key slot on trunklid = FTW
  2. Cool idea, as long as there's regerous certification to be able to fly that thing, because most of the population would be too stupid to fly it, they can barely drive after all.
  3. I'm guessing he wants something that at least tries to give the impression of beings somewhat sporty.
  4. I guess an MCE to the exterior and interior was too much to ask?The wheels are a massive improvement over the ugly old ones though.
  5. That sucks and I think sales may hurt because of it. I still don't get why they don't put MDS in the 6.1.
  6. True
  7. I just posted this too
  8. I know right? I do wish we'd get real names from Pontiac...it's bad enough Cadillac is DLS FLR CVS ATT MIC, and so on
  9. Well Camino, you can always debadge it and then stick a couple Chevy emblems and an El Camino emblem :AH-HA_wink:
  10. Baffling how the Tundra can get 4-star crash ratings, the lowest of the group, yet suddenly it has a top pick? Yet the ESC doesn't work when 4WD is engaged? How could they not know, they are supposed to be testing the safety of the vehicles we drive, it's kind of important to know what they can and can't do. I'm going to put a sticker on the Shadow that says it can fly to avoid being hit...so it gets a top safety pick right? No one seems to test whether it actually works or not. It's amazing that CR f all people are calling BS out on the Tundra of all things.
  11. I think as we see gas prices continue to climb the "premium" compact segment will grow, because people will want the luxuries and sophistication of bigger vehicles while getting the fuel economy of a small car.
  12. This article is so idiotic. The facts aren't even all there. Only the Wrangler and Avenger are doing well? Charger sales have remained steady, 300 hasn't dropped like a rocket, only the Magnum is the slow seller. Also, the Avenger is what like 78% fleet? That's not exactly doing well, unless those numbers have changed. T&C sales are up too by the way. Of course Chrysler and Ford need a lot of work, but c'mon, we've heard the same crap over and over, it's not a bunch of lousy articles which have their facts messed up that will change the tide, it's the companies who are responsible for it.
  13. It would be nice if the prices remain the same once the new engines debut...then you'll get even more bang for your buck. While the Challenger won't sell in the same kind of numbers the Mustang or Camaro will, it doesn't need to. The Charger and another LX platform mates are the bread and butter vehicles of that platform. The Camaro has to sell in higher numbers because it is on an all new platform, one that has been modified from the other Zetas and is the only one that will be built in America right now. The Mustang only shares it's platform with itself, so it has to sell in high numbers, plus it has traditionally been the cheapest one anyway. Its costs stay down because it uses simpler technology, like a live axle out back. Remember that the special mustangs can easily get into the price range of the Challenger SRT8.
  14. What about an SXT or R/T?
  15. My uncle had one..I wonder what happened to it...I don't see very many these days.
  16. You cannot deny that CO2 emissions are contributing to greenhouse gases, and the results of which are increased temperature due to heat not being able to escape. Look no further than Venus to see the Greenhouse Effect.
  17. Vroom Vroom, DustBuster FTW
  18. Not even just GM cars, this place always seems to have the latest info on the competition too!
  19. That's too bad, in a market where the small car segment is becoming ever more popular with the rise of gas prices, they could certainly use more body styles. Since they've got a platform ready to go I think it would make logical sense, oh well.
  20. I agree, it was a mistake for Chrysler not to release a sedan counterpart....I'd liek to know if one is in the works or not...maybe Chris knows? Considering it's a hatchback and the stigma they have in the US, the Caliber had done very well, but having a sedan would get them a lot more potential buyers.
  21. Logo design competition would be awesome.
  22. I know what you mean, my baby is my baby and no one else is going to f@#k her up except me, which will hopefully never happen
