  1. ^ Have you see the initial vid from a few years ago, the first Musk unveiling- where the passengers have the squirm their way out of the back like hula dancers? My 'concerns' are the very tight 2nd & 3rd rows, and the "advantage" of 'tight confines' rear gull wing doors, when the fronts are conventional. If Tesla couldn't make all 4 doors gull wing, then it should've been the doors that are opened 90% of the time; the fronts. I'm wondering if once a degree of real world usage gets under consumer's belts, if that's not the turn the sentiment will take. Looking forward to seeing the cargo space too.
  2. Only one I've been in is the Spark- hated it on numerous levels, but room-wise up front it was OK. Would never buy one tho. Would like to see the Sonic. I have no choice of the above list. Outside of that; the one on the right :
  3. Ya; it's a '60 Imperial with '59 caddy grille & bumper jammed up under the headlights. The original :
  4. Mash-up ::
  5. Could really use some 'headlight on' indicators. I hate driving with headlights on in the daytime, I click them off but until I'm behind another vehicle, I can't tell from inside the truck.
  6. (2) '60s Ford Econoline 'flat front' pick-ups, a heavily primered/ patch-painted example prominently parked up front at a local watering hole, and an orange job inside one o those storage lot places. '67 Coupe deVille, all primered, looking rough, looked like long-term parking in a weedy repair garage lot.
  7. I've never seen any 'MT' branded merchandise in any store...
  8. Snap-on has a very nice 24-some LED work light sold thru Costco (about $35)… but the reality is it's only licensed to use the SO name- it's made in China, not by SO (still; very good- I recommend it.)
  9. The incessant sniping here is KILLING this thread.
  10. Reminds me of the exposure that Mercedes under-reported their .cd numbers. They also underreport their incentive amounts. It's no doubt their DICs are biased also.
  11. I have lived at house numbers 13, 11, 211, 211 and 1100.
  12. Another glorious day at the swap meet; junk, garbage, rot & rust, just like I like to see.
  13. ^ Saw a 'breaking news' soundbite that says the number of VWs may be 2.8 million.
  14. ^ it's got a wedgie. This is MUCH cooler
  15. I looked over the federal auto safety regs (started in '66) and there was nothing there about Chrysler's '65-66 glass headlight covers. I had thought they were outlawed, but perhaps there were condensation issues that caused ChryCo to stop using them; they were sharp. '65 300-L, '65-66 Imperial. - - - - - There's nothing inherently 'wrong' with the '64 Imperial front end, but what I never care for is headlights 'just pasted' onto the grille texture. At least I think that's what it is. I get a cheap vibe from it for some reason.
  16. For a '60s rear end, this has to take the cake :: Look at the bumper fitment & contours vs. Ford's. Plus you have the trick invisible taillights. RE the Galaxie's tail end, I'd have to endorse the '61-63 Thunderbird's take over the Galaxie's.
  17. Pontiac had light-up hood ornaments for a stretch : ...started in late '40s and finished with twin fender bullets in '57. Lit grille badges seems like a no brainer- surprised more haven't been done. This would have been awesome lit ('59) :: I believe we're going to see more of this in the near future...
  18. OH COME ON!!!!
  19. I could agree with that in the rear view, but overall it comes off as a bit lacking in grace, IMO. Sumtin about it...
  20. Bethcha didn't know this; the last Chrysler letter car, the '65 300-L, had a light-up grille emblem :: Lil' details like that are pretty cool in my book. - - - - - Now… I hope someone has engineered a light up Eagle on the rear of their Imperial ::
  21. '41 Chrysler Thunderbolt coupe ::
  22. Always liked these, '53-54 Hudson Italia ::
  23. ^ I don't disagree with anything above, ccap. Anyone with a half cup of common sense could make a -say- 15 million/ 5-yr contract last them the rest of their lives, easily, and never have to work again. I'll do a 1 million / 5-yr deal and whittle matchsticks the rest of my life.
