  1. The interior looks good but I'll wait for some better pics to pass judgement on the exterior.
  2. Even though I've never watched it, I like HSM because of Zac and Vanessa, though she needs to trim up a little bit. Thanks BV for the pic!
  3. Move over 3-Series, there's a new "gotta have" chick/young executives car on the block. Luckily, BMW has the market cornered.
  4. I'll wait until official shots are released but I wish GM wouldn't do this.
  5. The interior is nice but is that a vent on the front quarter panel? It's officially the most overdone styling cue. If I was Jaguar, I'd take them all off now.
  6. It's better than what I expected. I can definitely see it becoming the next gotta-have car.
  7. While I have no clue about Toyota's diesel engines, I disagree with Toyota's stance. I could definitely see a diesel thrown into the next-gen Corolla as well as the Tundra, Tacoma and possibly the RAV4. Perhaps the Camry, too, though I'd question that. Lexus could use diesels in the IS and GS. Edit: spelling.
  8. Matrix and xB crossovers/SUVs? LMFAO! Give it up, please. If anything in the Toyota SUV lineup needs to be axed, it's the Land Cruiser. I think the sole reason it's kept is because of its history. Other than that, it's useless. The Sequoia could also be called useless since it barely sells but I'll wait for the next-gen. Edit: Small crossover: RAV4 Midsize crossover: Highlander Midsize SUV: 4Runner Large SUV: Sequoia Niche SUV: FJ Cruiser Midsize luxury crossover: RX Midsize luxury SUV: GX Large Luxury SUV: LX If anything, Lexus should (and will) have a true entry-level luxury crossover (just like the other luxury divisions) and possibly a large crossover (like Benz). Toyota may need a large crossover (like Lambda quads). I see bases covered and little overlapping.
  9. I think both are good looking vehicles, though I haven't seen the Accord coupe in person. The Altima coupe looks better in person than in photos. It would be a very difficult decision for me...probably based on price/monthly payment.
  10. I knew it had been too long for FOG to go without a rant. I'll just remember the next time I see a local GM dealer offering tons of cash back or an extremely low monthly payment I should make a new thread about it, generalize that every vehicle must have those incentives on the hood, and complain about how I don't like it.
  11. Is that how the gauges are going to look? Very cool.
  12. I think I like the Aura exterior design better. The interior looks alright but there are too many cutlines in the center stack area. That brown/orange interior combo is nasty. What was the inspiration? Reese's Pieces? I agree with Nick. A sport package with bigger tires and lower ride height would benefit the new 'Bu.
  13. The plood is horrible...there's too much of it. A shame to hear the materials aren't as good as they could be. This has been a problem with Toyotas recently. Seems like it will only get worse. It seems a little too pricey, too. Still, an all-around good crossover.
  14. I'd rather have the A5...better looking, more sporty, more exclusive.
  15. The Lambda design isn't so special, IMO. The current design is fine. The Malibu/Aura proposal is much better than what we currently have. It is a little busy but a big improvement. The proposed BRX center stack looks great, too. The gauge clusters are overkill, though, though Pontiac's isn't that bad. It looks like there's too much information being squeezed into too small a space.
  16. Like the grille and really like the color (it's different). The interior is a let down, though, especially compared to the Chinese STS (SLS?).
  17. Completely cheapens the design, even though I hate the design to begin with.
  18. Besides the wheels, I actually like it. I fell in love with a white GXP coupe with tinted windows and sport/ground effects package (2006 model, I think) that I saw on the road a few months ago. Looked totally awesome. I wouldn't mind owning one, especially at this price. Has to be white, though.
  19. The exterior looks decent. I think the headlights would look better blacked out...more sporty and in-tune with the Dodge theme. What platform is this on? It looks similar to the Outlander and I want to say both share a platform but I'm not sure. The interior is alright. The design is acceptable, though I do not like the big screen. It looks like an afterthought. I hope the materials quality is good but considering most previous Chrysler products, that hope is probably false. Nice name, though. Reg has a good idea: use Journey music in the advertising.
  20. That's what I think. As good as the new 'Bu may be, it's not going to drastically change the marketplace in just a few years. It won't change the marketplace period, over multiple generations, if GM doesn't continually update and market it. Do not let it grow stale on the vine, GM.
  21. It's nice for a compact but the Aston Martin design shouldn't be so cheapened. The front is like a Chinese rip-off. The rest of the car is nice, though. The interior is surprising for a Ford.
  22. I find the MDX grille attractive, aggressive and different. It makes the car, IMO.
