Ive never heard of this "ultra v8" what is it?

Hehe, I barley drank at all in highschool, in college I have made up for it I'd say. Most embarissing moments....hmmm.... Well I was totally hammered this past saturday. I went to a costume party at a house. my costume was a cardbaord box that I wrote I love box on the front of. At the party I had 5 beers and 3 cups of jungle juice (fruit juice and grain alcohol mixture) and was feeling a nice little buzz but i was still totally fine. went out to the bar after and I ended up spending about 70 bucks... on myself. My friends told me I was drinking jamisons irish wiskey three shots at a time. I ended up drinking half the bottle myself plus a few round of JD with my friends. I stumbled back to the dorms and I could barley walk or talk. One of my friends too me too the dinner to get some sober food so to speak. here is the the conversation that took place when I tried to order. Waiter: What is your order sir? ME: I'll have, I'll have, I'll have, I'll have, I'll have, I'll have.... John: Dan I'll order for you... ME: No... No... No... I'll have I'll have uhhh, medium rare. John: First of all thats not an order second of all if you eat anything that is medium rare youll probably through up. ME: Ill have cheeseeeeee and there are 500 meters left in the race and I have to row hard.... John, Waiter and Ryan: what the hell? ME: time to check into the hotel.... John: Get him some soup and bread. Ryan: Dan you cant even make sentances right now Me: I am the sentance master (as you might have guessed I am on the crew team at my school, and i was most deffinetly wasted lol) Ill post pictures later lol... well here is a picture with me in my I love box costume.... hehe good one, once in my 01 gls alero I took an exit ramp at 105 mph, when I got to the end i was still going 30 after florrring the brakes through the ramp but I managed to merge with traffic lol crazy crap, anyways it was an emergency one of my friends mom was in the hospital and I was taing him there as they needed him for blood donation. Also on that trip I had the car maxed at its 110 limiter for about 10 miles and I was doing 70 on a 25 mph back road where I got a about 3 ft of air over a rise. The alero handled like a champ, took the bumps and flew whenever I floored it. N-bodies are good handling cars. There is somuch you can do swaping parts with the quad 4. Ive know people to get 230 or so hp naturally aspirated for only about 3 grand. I lie the look of your generation GA better than the last generation BV sharp looing car, if only GM had better interiors inthe mid 90's.

Do we know if it gets the 4.6 northstar or the 5.3 LS4? If its the northstar which i hope it is to differentiat it from the Impy, GXP, I needs to have 300 hp otherwise it will be left to far behind by its Chevy and Pontiac siblings. Hopefully by the time these come out they will have 6 speed autos and nav added to the opton lists.

I am confident in upgraded interiors coming from GM for Cadillac and I lov all their exterior styling, that leavs Caddy with one big area to catch up with, again, and that is powertrains. Cadillac had more than caught up in 2004 I thought but because thy seem to be half a generation behind the imports have passed them this year. 255 hp from the 3.6 was fine a 2 years ago, now it is very average, same thing with the northstar making 320 hp. 5 speed autos are goo, especially GMs since they are world class but they need to get with the 6 speeds. Here is what I think GM nds for Caddy and we pretty much now they are getting some with the dirct injection updrades on the 3.6. Im applying them to the 2.8, 3.6 and the 4.6 northstar... 2.8 should make 255 hp and 240 ftlbs 3.6 should make 310 hp and 285 ftlbs 4.6 should make 380 hp and 370 ftlbs All should be paired with 6 speed autos with 6 speed sticks being availabl for the v6s. This with the new CTS body style and a new intrior for the STS would really make the Caddys the standard of the world, again...

I voted for Saturn and while I like pontiac much more ill give my brand by brand breakdown. Sabb- Weakest, only decent vehicle is the 9-3, 9-2 is cheap rebadge of the WRX, 9-5 is ancient and the 9-7 while nice is one of a half doezen GMT 360s. Future, new 9-3 still years away with a future 9-5 replacment up in the air as to if it will actually get AWD with Subaru's loss, also the 9-6 has been cancelled because of this, overall a very uncertain future product line. Buick- Though quiet attractive the lacrosse and Lucerence are both on old chasis mated with either uncompetitve engine (3800) or engines that are mated to old 4 speed autos. Also the 4.6 northstar in the Lucerene only makes 275 horse where the new Avalon makes almost as much even after the new ratings, and the 3.6 lost a bunch of hp and a ton of tourque making the transition to FWD. These cars could be made great if the new base engine on the Lacrosse was the 3900, with a more powerful 3.6 making at last 250 horse 240 ftlbs, both being hooked up to a 6 speed auto. The Lucrene would have the same 3.6 for the base and a 300 hp northstar with a 6 speed. Buick has a kickass lambda coming and hopefully another car or two, I consider buick and pontiac to be tied in this race. Buick has too few models even for a line that is not a full car line and pontiac doesnt have any clear cut mission or styling. Pontiac has Grand prix that could use a new interior and a 6 speed auto but otherwise is pretty good. The G6 needs to get the 6 speed also with more manual options, the 3.5 should be replaced with the 3.5 vvt. Better interior materials, the ergonomics and design are great but the dash materials and some other prats are crap. Solstice is pontiacs future Torrent could use better power train and some more options to distinguish it from the nox but should be a volume helper. Minivan should be dropped. If Pontiac gets the new GTO, G8, based off of zeta and a kappa based 3 series fighter we may have a hige turn around, so long as Pontiac keeps its new products fresh. he Reason I voted for saturn despite it being my least favorite of the 4 is that it has the best product in the pipline. The Aura, sky and new Ion are all amazingly desigined with fantastic interiors, good drivetrains and a common design theme and direction that unifys the saturn brand. The outlook is coming as well as a new Vue and at least one or two other vehicles. Saturn might not be much now but give it a few years and it will be.

Aveo: B (kinda funjy but safe good milage cheap and reliable) Cobalt: A- (Great car needs a high milage engine option and a little more refinement) Colorado: C+ (Great Chasis held back by powertrains need 5300 DOD v8 and new interior) Corvette: A (Exotic level perfromance for 41k and change) Equinox: B+ (Very Competent mini ute with great ergonomics and fuel econemy. Could use a better powertain though the one it has is not horrible) Impala: A- (Takes the W-body to its topmost potential and than some. Competitve car with good quality) HHR: B (Needs a little more juice under the hood nice interior) Malibu: A- (with the MCE the Malibu now has a broad range of competitve engines. This car is very high quality and sells largley because of its very good value rating) Monte Carlo: B (Some dont like the refersh but I do) Uplander: D (Waste of time) Overall grade B+

AH-HA do you mean that the CTS wont be at any auto shows this uear of that it jus wont be at the Detroit auto show. I really hope its at an auto show this year, the NYIAS would be convienent as I am 20 minutes away.

Hey all at a pretty lean 5'10 180 lbs I wear most shirt sizes in large. I happen to like aprercrombie and fitch polos, shirts and t shirts. i am started to worry about not being able to fit these clothes abymore though.. sice my shoukders especailly started getting bigger from crew I can barley fit an XL sizw shirt, where I am normally just a large. XL for A and F these days is max a 4 inch chest, I wear a 44 inch jacket anything more and I will be in the last size of Abercrombie stuff as there biggest shirt is an XXL that fits up ti 46 inch chest.... Im kinda worried about this because I like their clothes but they are too small for me in a lot demensions. anyone else have thes problems?

Satty dude not all bear sucks... my suite of rooms with my 8 roomies and I never drink anyhting cheaper than bud light. We've gone through 33 30 packs of that this year and for high enf peers we've had like 6 cases of Becks and 5 Heinys. When we're out we never buy anthing but Becks, Harp or Amstel light. Tonight we ran out of beer for the 1st time this year, it was 90 beers and change for about 10 people, than we all went out and did shots lol. Anyways Im drunk and need sleep but I protest that beer is nasty, I love beer. more pics tommor night im goin out agaig to the celtic crossing.

I loved my alero for the 18 months or so ive owned it, its a loaded 01 GLS that got for 9 grand after a 1 gradn crap trade. It had 20k miles on it then and ran great now it has 60k miles on it with nothing but oil changes a few sets of breaks despite the fact that I abuse the hell out of it. Brisk acceleration good handling and breaking are all pluses plus its a great looking car. Im looking to get rid of it now though as the suspension needs an overhaul if im going to hold ontoo this car because of city driving and I kinda want to move up since I have a good job, even while im in school i have a good job. Im probably going to lease a new 2007 CTS so that way I dont have to worry about the suspension getting screwed in the city. After college Ill buy again.
