  1. I could have used that...mini blew a water pump and it took me a mile or two to get to a safe place to pull over. Sadly, internal engine damage and possibly a cracked head. Car is almost fifteen years old, not putting a motor in it. Not sure what I am going to do with it, too clean to Junk.
  2. After the Concorde and besides the JGC and 300...most Chryco products for eighteen years or so...
  3. Used and older around here car lots can't give them away. Incorrect...that is the perfect automobile...size be damned. Would not kick his larger Brother out of the garage either.
  4. I would buy you beer all night long based on the profound correctness of what you just said.
  5. I have something that should balance the thread out nicely, just have not had time to post it...
  6. The whole thing looks like a nude Hermann Goring suffering from a double dose of barbiturates...
  7. I think it is Irony that for a GM forum...many here are pretty much picking Ford...
  8. I had a co worker John, several years ago who hit a moose in a Mazda 323...a very small car...also knew a trucker who hit a Moose and it came right up through the wind shield of his semi...he had to get the Semi Stopped and get out with a badly startled and injured moose attempting to get free inside of the cab...That would ahve freaked me out...
  9. I am loving my daughters dinner time stories about claims now that she is working as an automobile claims adjuster. The best one last night was... (Daughter) So tell me about your accident... (Claimant) So both the Car and the Possum were airborne at the time of the collision....
  10. I now have three of thee to do....mine, Olds Hurst and this...should be interesting.
  11. i absolutely love it, were I buying a full sized Luxury car this would so be on my list...
  12. GT350R and the terminator are my two favorites of your picks, Frisky!
  13. Long crazy day at work, I will respond tomorrow to the two dream car garage threads I need to respond to.
  14. You are also not trying to text and drive or put on makeup....
  15. Wish we still had more diesels here in the interim, but this move makes an infinite amount of sense.
  16. My list is coming shortly, fantastic list...I always ahve had a soft spot for those fantastic 70 Mustangs Mach/boss cars and the fullsize Ford ragtop I love....nice to see both you and Olds Hurst post up full size Ford convertibles! My Ford list coming in about two hours...
  17. Thank you for an excellent review. I will consider this the next time I need tires!
  18. My daughter is 21 and drives an aging Mazda 3....it has held up rather well. Very impressed with the Cruze and liking the Civic... Now where were the keys to that 911....? In all reality I have no idea what I am going to do when I finally get rid of the Cooper S. The fairly cheap thing cuts both ways...my daughter is an automobile insurance claims adjuster, and she tells me that depreciation is so bad on the Focus that they rarely repair them because the value drops so rapidly, even on the ST model. And yes, five grand more for a Crosstek over an Imprezza without much if any more real world function...is overpaying..
  19. If we are talking English Fords I would take a Lotus Cortina...nice list sir...
  20. I once sued a 71 Chevelle SS as a daily driver for my family with 5 children...I am not real oriented towards the practical. I find myself moving in the opposite direction...a BRZ is impractical but might well be my next car...but I find myself asking how much of a ticking time bomb a 30K 911 is...
  21. Glad someone else finds smaller cars easier to drive and park..living in a large city...the difference is stark. With a family like you have a compass or patriot would make a lot of sense. But yes, Cruze as a used car is the deal of the century IMHO.
  22. And if gas goes to six bucks a gallon they can import them and sell them like hot cakes. But even at $4.50 a gallon they will still have reasonable SUV demand.
