Cadillac News: Spying: Cadillac CT6 Gets Some Escala
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
And aside from any desire to argue with my opponent from Pittsburgh...I would take the Lexus eleventy billion to one over a Benz... Indeed...and personally I cannot warm up to them...- 45 replies

How do you separate preference from bias?
A Horse With No Name replied to A Horse With No Name's topic in The Lounge
That is part of it... I can relate! -
So I have gotten over negative feelings I have for both Chrysler and GM but for some reason seem to have a somewhat irrational case of real dislike for Ford motor company at the moment. I really like the current F150, the Lincoln crossover products, the Mustang, the ST twins, the Fusion Sport...and several other products. But for whatever reason I seem to have a real dislike for Ford that is not rational. Any advice you have for helping me think more rationally about them would be appreciated. Thanks!

Detroit Auto Show: Lincoln MKC Concept: Comments

Agree completely...as I have said before Lincoln has a design language that works well for crossover and small SUV vehicles. I don't agree by any means... -

They are printing money selling cars with existing technology. Lincoln did the same thing for decades with the town car.- 45 replies

Fair enough... All 20 vehicles they have over 500 horsepower are low selling vehicles. Chrysler builds the Demon with over 800...but it is a low selling car. He will be on the war path about the satin finish Cadillac uses on the seat belt retractors next.- 45 replies

Cadillac News: Spying: Cadillac CT6 Gets Some Escala
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
It has been 41 plus years since the last full size Cadillac convertible. Since they had convertibles in their lineup for seventy years before that I am assuming they know how to build one. If they felt they needed one in the lineup they easily could have added one. Acura does not currently build a convertible, nor does Lexus...- 45 replies

Except that everything else in the segment is more powerful, or has better handling or more interesting styling. Honda ranks with Ford as a company that just does not impressed me all that much at the moment. MK7 GTI is orders of magnitude better than the SI and the Dated Focus ST. VW would pretty much have to cancel production of the GTI for me to consider either the Civic it the Focus ST.

Cadillac is doing just fine actually. Asking specific questions just moves the goal posts. You might as well say that my woodworking machines are not woodworking machines because I only build guitars and furniture, not Banjos and Bird houses.- 45 replies

Again, why are we debating a bland and unlikeable crossover that no one here has the remotest interest in buying? If internet threads could take Adderall this thread would need it badly. -
