2017 MINI Countryman Grows and Brings A Plug-In Hybrid: Comments
Sadly, Pontiac and Oldsmobile are remembered for the most part only by car geeks. The general population, not so much. The 14's may not have a fix. There is no EPA certified fix for any of the three generations. As for Fuel economy, the EA 288 in the 15's does even better, i regularly see over 50 MPG. Hauling two bikes on the back, sunroof open, windows down, 75 MPH I got 52.2 driving to a trialhead in a nature preserve. Rode 35 miles Saturday! There is nothing wrong with Gasoline. i have been in love with what it does since I was a small boy.

2016 Lexus IS 200t F Sport, Side Profile
Were I to be buying a luxury car, this is actually where my money woudl go. I have had very serious thoughts about a gently sued/CPO version to replace the Jetta. I like this better than anything else in the price bracket, honestly.

A review of the 2017 Continental, chosen just because they have what appear to be decent images of the car
Friday was an interesting day at work. I work on the campus of a university in the facilities department. Obama is speaking here on Tuesday/tomorrow so we had the secret service here all over campus. A lot of other strange things happened....the women's volleyball team showed up in Halloween costumes for practice. Was interesting watching wonder woman, cat woman, and few other notables at the net. But nothing was quite as otherworldly as watching the cat fight between grown men over a four door Ford. Lincoln is a really tired brand and this will be a shot in the arm, but in the minds of buyers (the ones actually putting money to metal and keeping the factory open) they have a long way to go to catch up to Buick, Acura, Lexus, Infinity Cadillac, Audi, BMW, Mercedes and the like. I wish Ford no ill, but am not impressed with several elements of the car in question. For the record, I would honestly rather drive a Miata or a WRX than this thing, but then Luxury cars are not my thing. Were Suav or another member to get one, I would be very happy that they had acquired a car that they liked. Would like a rational discussion about what is right and wrong with the various design elements of the car, but that does not seem like it is in the car for this thread.

Alfa Romeo Drops Manual Option for Giulia Quadrifoglio :Comments
They have Jeep and Ram doing well, Fiat is in the toilet and other than two retro muscle cars the whole group is not really selling passenger cars in the USA. Nor will they probably be doing so in any volume in the future.

Given their sales figures, one could fit all of the future owners of these in North America in a high school football locker room. ...and it wouldn't even have to be a large locker room at that....

Fusion Sport vs MKZ 3.0T, both with 3 season tires
..and I would not want to own one out of warranty. Depends on which MINI.

Please do tell more. Absolutely correct. Closest I would come is a MINI, and that comes with other issues.

Large Luxury SUV Test by MT
The Lexus is somewhat bland. I like their passenger cars much more than their SUV's/

Alfa Romeo Drops Manual Option for Giulia Quadrifoglio :Comments
Given how few manuals are being sold, this is actually a sane business decision. Everyone from Acura to Ferrari seems to be dropping them. Last time i was at a major Chevrolet dealership they had one manual Corvette on the lot and everything else was automatic.

Would You Rather: Putting the 'Sport' in SUV Edition
Yes again! Interesting how much more I like this than the initial choice presented.

False dichotomy, in the real world you are not constrained to either poor choice like you are in a C and G dream car garage thread. I really try not to sound like a hater, but you could not get the keys out of my hands fast enough if I owned either and could get a reasonable trade in value out of it.
