  1. I kind of like what your doing here, kind of like what Dodgefan is doing. Building a factory version of what you could have ordered back in the day...but paid for and on your own schedule.
  2. Good luck on the parts truck...I actually found my last two jobs on CL, and have found LOTS of great deals on stuff like furniture and so forth. But some CL people are jerks....not all of them though....
  3. I think our species is involved in a kind of reverse evolution...and these cars are evidence of that....
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7qsHP1YVMY&feature=grec_index PERFECT Firebird of Camino at 00:53..... As well as some J body love for Dave87rs....
  5. Glad to see it making progress.
  6. Probably about four miles to the gallon better than you would get in a new CRZ.
  7. Welcome to C and G, and glad to have you on board!
  8. Wish I was closer, sounds awesome. Brother of a friend went to a similar event in Cincinnati and it was a hoot!
  9. ...last non hybrid car operational on the planet?
  10. Just think...by the time you get back to the Camino...you will have already done a nut and bolt restoration on the Tahoe, using all NOS GM parts! With the level of practice your getting, the Camino ought to be a national show winner.
  11. Think you've got her licked....
  12. Not really a crime, but a sad day in mudville! Sad...
  13. That electric blue is nice...but something about a Cutlass of the Era just cries out for black.
  14. Yeah, the sound of that car is just sick! Not just yes but hell yes...I'd like to DRIVE it with modern rubber under it!
  15. I love the tail out, power happy driving in the video. I've done plenty of THAT! Love the color, my 71 Chevelle was the same color and I always liked it on that car. To each his own....
  16. Yes, Camino and Olds....where indeed art thou?
  17. If it saves an older Cutty from being donked...it's worth it.
  18. Actually love the looks of the Thunderbolt...however...I'm addicted to speed, so I love the P-51 as well. Flying escort into Berlin in the fall of 44 would have been about the ultimate adrenaline rush, provided you survived the trip.
  19. Lowest Combat losses was amazing given its role in ground support and that it flew much lower than the 17's. Those pilots did NOT fly a very predictable path in the sight of German flak... Flak bait was hit something like over 1000 times and she still flew...212 missions IIRC...now that's a tough plane. Which is what I also liked about the Thunderbolt. I think most of the top Thunderbolt aces survived the war, VS most of the top P38 aces, who didn't.
  20. Or was that Baltimore Whore...probably both actually.....
  21. Fixed it....Good luck bro!
  22. Still VERY loved by the pilots that flew the B26...aka Baltimore Bitch.
  23. That makes perfect, logical sense to me. Pressure will equalize in a refrigeration system...I also used to keep aquariums, including Salt water fish...water will always try to equalize pressure with air.... Think you might be on to something!
  24. PITA for real.... You would think that a GM tech might have an answer for this. Your Tahoe can't be the only vehicle with this problem!
