  1. I had a 307 4V in my Olds Cutlass...that's a fine power train...my girlfriend at the time, wife now...and I...drove that thing across part of Canada one summer when we were dating. NOTHING at all wrong with that Olds motivation...
  2. Yes we will..be watching...Sweet Ride!
  3. Other than changing the exhaust...I am pretty much down with it. And did you mean vacuum hoses instead of vacuum tubes...perhaps a 1958 Olds had Vacuum tubes instead of transistors in the radio....
  4. S10 is a darn nice little truck...went out to dinner with a friend of mine tonight that has one....he bought it new in 95 and it still runs like a million bucks... But the Ohio winters have not been kind to it....
  5. I'm glad you got the 4WD...that truck has a nice stance...
  6. Darn...that thing is way too nice to drive through a PA winter.... Now you need a winter beater... Again..congrats....
  7. Awesome pics Vipes...now if I could just get you and Chris to post a few of GTI's. TDI's. and R32's...we would be set!
  8. The covered bridge pic is awesome...
  9. Let me know when you want to replace that 1950 furnace.... Chris
  10. Nice looking truck...but I agree on the price/miles thingie....
  11. That is one of my fav. cars... Saw a blue 70 Cutty with a black vinyl top driving tonight, was sweet.... Awesome pics, Roger!
  12. Bingo! Ding, ding ding...sir...we have a winner. I would agree with you. My wife, both sons, and oldest daughter are all somewhat fiscal conservatives. sometimes as you say socially as well... They all pretty much hate the current republican party, fox news, et al...
  13. Congrats! A much better name than my middle daughters best friends...who are named Lexus and Sienna.... Way to go Roger!
  14. Hope everything works out all right... Chris
  15. ...and this is where I loose all respect for the conservative side of things.... REALITY PLEASE!
  16. Synergy green is just way to hot for the Camaro!
  17. This car may be my salvation for my wife's next car. She wanted a Fit to replace her Scion xB (2005) which has 137,000 miles on it....but after looking at the Fieta...she MUCH prefers the Fiesta... HMM...Miata...fiesta...add one MINI...three cars...three continents...could be quite the nice garage, esp. if the MINI were an S model. but agree with you, pow...Ford outdid themselves on this one!
  18. My dodgefan moment...we got a lot of runs at the last autocross, and got to ride along in a Viper driven 'in anger." I still like the Z06 a little better (it feels like a little more of an animal) but...ohmygodwhatacar My Balthazar moment...pulled up in a rural driveway in a service call to fix some electricd...guys is an old fart from New Jersey...has a 62 Pontiac Grand Prix with 64,000 original miles, dark marron, nice shape...sitting in the driveway. Guy spent most of his life in New Jersey before moving to Ohio...he also had a 69 Mach 1, a 67 Mustang fastback, and a 65 Mustang convertible. My sixty eight panther moment...was doing a service call at a truck stop...and then a riced Celica...really riced...pulled away from the pumps when I was getting a tool out of my work van. I looked at that car and said "what a pig." I turned around...and a whole convoy of Kenworths pulling livestock trailers full of pigs pulled in off of I-70...must have been about eleventy billion pigs. Evidently Karma is not a bitch, she agrees with us at Cheers and Gears! Chris
  19. Cool....glad to know about the flow masters...
  20. Not just yes but....in my driveway please! Cincy.... and congrats...seeing you get what you want gives me hope that I will get a Solstice or a Cooper S...
  21. The Healy is one of my all time top ten cars...ever... I dearly, dearly, dearly love Healy's...but then you already know THAT!
