  1. Prelude never sold well...but they just love to turn, esp. for an FWD car... Chris
  2. +1 on the crazy road trip thingie... Chris
  3. Seeing that Honda sold like 71 S2000 automobiles in the entire US last month, I can see why they are not replacing it. I'd be plenty happy with a lighter, more nimble and better looking Civic Si myself. Chris
  4. That would be sweet. the Pontiac Dealer in Chillicothe, Ohio has 4 G8's out front...red, white, blue, and black. As an aside...God, I wish I'd been in my 30's back in the 60's and could have bought a 60's Pontiac new. Gm will be a sad thing if they loose Pontiac. Chris
  5. ...and since I'm bored, check this out...almost worth the trip just to see this. http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/factsheet...ia.asp?fsID=360 This is the only airplane (type) to ever have an actual nuclear reactor installed and flown on it. Chris
  6. Another linky... http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/ Chris
  7. Camino...If you get bored, come out to Ohio. I'll take a day off work and we can go to the Air Force Museum in Dayton. http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/ I'll even buy lunch. Chris
  8. Both have tons of aftermaket support also. Compared to a Corolla they will feel "solid" as well. Chris
  9. There is something to be said of a vehicle that you can beat on like a red-headed step child. burbans make great wheeling vehicles because they can carry so much gear, and because the aftermarket for them is about as big as the Mustang aftermarket. Chris
  10. Don't feel bad...people call my Miata a chick car. Usually one ride and a few 4 wheel drifts around curves cures that notion pretty quick. The Neon is a fine little car. Wish Chryco still built them. Chris
  11. Seriously, if I ever get into racing on track instead of Autocrossing I want a Barn Door 'burban as a tow vehicle. I would strongly prefer a diesel, though. Chris

  13. QUOTE (ocnblu @ Jan 6 2009, 07:43 PM) Good Lord. Uh... perhaps some of us prefer NOT to hear about Bobbi's bone? Ya think??? I'd rather hear about his Jaguar. Didn't know he was into British cars... (Just kidding, Bob.) Chris
  14. QUOTE (Satty @ Jan 6 2009, 07:48 PM) Wait...Trina drives a Jag? Trina could move to Virgina...and then put his Bone in a VA Jag. That would solve problems right there. (Bad play on words, and nut funny...but...) Chris
  15. Alcoholiss/drug use is a sad thing. I remember Betty Ford and how hard it was for her to get clean. I don't think your Mike's type. Although I still would rather have had Mike D than Bush Sr. Chris
  16. Actually I like Mexican beer and Canadian beer but don't like most American beers. There is a small brewery that produces Albita (SP?) beer down south, I like that, but that's about it for American beer. I really love Dark German beer. Chris
  17. We need alternative fules now...I am tired of sending 700 billion a year to the saudi's. Chris
  18. I agree with you eleventy-billion percent and then some. Seems like there is a song where the lyrics go something like "Burn MotherF*****, Mother****** Burn, the roof is one fire..." This is exactly how I feel about the middle east. We have gone out of our way for 30 or 40 years trying to bring a peace settlement. The sooner the Dead Sea becomes a thermonuclear sea of glass, the better. Chris
  19. I still don't get a visiblity issue. Mirrors work just fine with a large truck like Sixty-eight said. I've driven bucket Trucks for like forever at work (I am an electrician) and driving a bucket truck isn't a problem, even with a trailer. For a driver of any skill at all, a 'burban with barn doors should indeed be cake. Chris

  21. This is one of your best posts to date on this site IMHO. NICE! Chris
  22. I loose faith in the human race every day. People are essentially sheep, and Toyota is well vesed in the lamb chop biz. Chris
  23. Exactly what other "rice" are they outdoing and why? Doesn't look like a bad car, but not worth the hype imho. Chris
  24. I could see one in my future. I like it better than the Camry, Accord, and Altima.
