1. Sadly, I find myself agreeing with you. But make mine a 65 Malibu ragtop rather than an old C/K! Chris
2. ...preach it brother.... Chris
3. QUOTE(Flybrian @ Jan 13 2006, 03:03 PM) So sue me, but I as a hetero male can't find what's so hot about two chicks going at it with each other. I agree. Chris
4. QUOTE(K.C. @ Aug 19 2007, 02:50 AM) Paolino! Funny you should mention shit when talkin about Cincinatti Bowties and Cleveland Steamers. Just be glad you arent from Ohio, where things things are named after. That's not somethin to be proud of. ...those of us from Ohio are allowed to enjoy our sexual deviations.... Chris
5. There is no heaven, there is no hell, there are no paranormal things that are real, all of it is invented by people with WAY to much time on their hands. Chris
6. Actually I quite enjoy FOG. He may be a redneck, but I don't think he's an Idiot at all. Chris
7. I can answer that one, DF. LX cars, owned one, decent car, but that was 15 years ago when they brought out that chasis and they no longer build it. Viper, love it, saw a clean older one at a local Specialty car dealer (the toy Barn) for 37k, thought hard about going into debt...but it is more than I can handle right now. However, I do drive a Miata, and would be very interested in a Rear Wheel Drive Demon that was made somewhere other than China. IMHO Chrysler needs an affordable Sporty car. I'll be checking out the V6 Challenger also...but they need a sporty small car, like the Neon R/T was. (Not even like the SRT-4, but the first gen R/T...something cheap that the Young, Fabulous, and fabulously broke can buy.) New Ram, I'll take mine with a Cummins, please. I think a lot more of them after my friend Eric's Hemi Ram 4x4 was totaled. He was hit by a woman doing about 85 in a 350Z, Tore the Drivers side doors off of the truck and nearly seperated the bed from the truck, but Eric walked away. I have a lot of respect for how they built the truck after I saw how it stood up to that kind of collision. I am just utterly amazed. Heres to hoping that Chrysler comes back, but they ain't gonna do it with Calibers, Sebrings and Compasses. Chris
8. I don't know about a hybrid Camaro... But I can kinda see the logic in delaying/cancelling the SS. If the Economy continues its meltdown, they won't be selling very many of them. That being said, I hope they keep the SS. Chris
9. It's going to get ugly...but the land doesn't in a way belong to Isreal. However, there is a lot of empty land in the middle east, and in one sense if the Muslims/Palestinians had just decided to "make nice" they might have gotten a lot of development capital off of selling things to the Jews. However, I would bet Dollars to Donuts that Israel won't be around in about 50 to 75 years. Chris
10. Silver cars are just Amazing...that one especially. I'll try the 3M stuff. Nice work! Chris
11. I hope so...I've known of a few "fallen off of the truck" stories myself. Chris Interesting note about the Tucker, BTW!
12. About 14 or 15 MPG is about right for cars of the Era and size. Chris
13. A bit of a rant, but these things happened over the last few weeks and I can't get over how dumb all 5 are. #1. My Buddy Steve runs a body shop, did the body work on my 71 Chevelle and my 55 Chevy and also has fixed my other cars, including the Safari van when it got hit by a truck. Steve took a BMW Salvage title rebuild down to the Ohio State highway patrol to get it checked out so he could sell it. He noticed a very nice 65 Corvette Convertible (red, restored) being hauled away with the impounds to a company that crushes cars. He asked them what they were doing with the Vette...and was told that they were crushing it for reasons they couldn't discuss. Why in God's green earth would you crush a 65 Corvette...much less a restored one? (I know this sounds like the stuff of Urban legend, but if Camino or one of the senior members here wants to PM me, I will give them Steve's # so they can verify this). #2. A garage in New Albany, an upscale suburb of Columbus had been around for 39 years and had a loyal customer base. Being in a neighborhood of expensive homes they lost thier "grandfather clause" and had to shut down. #3. My neighbor decides to put in a patio, so heorders a load of gravel. When the truck gets there, he tells the driver to put it in the street out in front of the house. So the driver backs into said neighbors driveway, tagging his Volvo with the dump truck. Driver realizes his mistake and pulls forward, but not before he has started tipping the dump bed...you guessed it, he pulled the Volvo forward with the dump bed and dumped 20 Tons of Gravel right on top of the car, and right through the now broken car windows. Actually, and amazingly, the car was still driveable once they dug it out. Damaged heavily, but driveable. #4. Dawn, a woman I know from the library, had a very nice 15 year old son...who decided to blow his brains out with a shot gun after he broke up with his girl friend. #5. We were setting new light poles in a parking lot when someone removed the lockout/tagout from the electrical panel feeding the parking lot lights and turned on the breakers. Never found out who did it, either. No one was hurt, but there is nothing like trying to swing a 30 foot piece of steel from a bucket truck and realizing your dealing with live electric. Just had to rant for a second, sometimes human stupidity is just...amazing. Chris
14. Pauli, we all hope a Buick is in your garage soon! Chris
15. Nice work Dave! And good luck on the classic car thing... Chris
16. Love the car...and glad Kim is still with us. Chris
17. I really don't like the Pathfinder either. Chris
18. Not a car on the list I wouldn't love to own. Chris
19. Happy birthday, guys! Chris
20. Nice well written post...sorry to hear about your loss. Chris
21. Or better yet flush most of the product lineup.... Chris
22. I would agree, Pauli. Chris
23. Before they gto raped by daimler, the Neon was a WONDERFUL small car. Chrysler certainly can build them...look at the slat siux darts and demons of the early 70's...great cars for the era. One wonders who's awake at the wheel in Auburn hills. Chris
24. Ouch!...my grandmother passed away when I was 16, I am almost 43 now and I still think about her. Like Borger said, keep her alive in your memory. Chris
