    Very Unexpected

    Congratulations, Mr. Jacket.
  2. Griffon, that makes me feel a bit better. I mean, I want RWD here from GM like now, but more differentiation is needed than just a grille, emblems, and red dash lights.

  4. While I'm very happy to have a RWD Pontiac sedan, I'm less than thrilled by the prospect of another rebadged Holden. Pontiac needs a car of their own, styled by Americans with a feel for Pontiac's very proud history. The Australian cars, while handsome, are too bland to wear the Pontiac name. This will be GTO mk II, I fear. I really hope I'm wrong. On the prospect of the smaller RWD architecture, that is fantastic news. Very promising.

    Number Five

I hope this turns out well, Fly. I'd still like to see your estimate then when you get a chance.
  7. Ewwwww... dick cheese, that's nasty...
  8. Yeah, I think it is just to antagonize those of us who have an affinity for the Vair.
  9. Kelso is so cute.

  11. An outright ban is overkill. I would support a disclosure law, however, for menus. This is not like a smoking ban. Smokers affect the entire room.
  12. Yup reg, I've always heard that too. And I believe it.
  13. This thread... worthless... without... :AH-HA_wink:

    Pictures!

In the kitchen, floor tiles to match the counter top would work, but dark colors tend to shrink a room. White to draw from the cabinet hardware would also work, but you'd have to keep them clean.
  15. Somehow, GM's HD pickups always have some awkward aspects. This and the Silverado continue that noble tradition. Somehow they both looked better when we first got a glimpse at them in that "family picture" posted a while back when someone spotted them in the crowd. Either that or GM's effed up publicity photogs are at it again. They should be shot for traitorous behaviour. The half-tons come across much better (versus their competition) in photos, at least to me, so far. Ford's Super Duty, even with its mildly retarded face, still looks a bit more serious than these. At least the wheels are more proportionate and the tailpipe doesn't look like it's going to shoot potatoes any second. I hope I eat my words when I see these in person, because they've got the power they need, for sure.
  16. There is another reason for the itty bitty wheels. There has to be.

    A Good Idea. . .?

Is that road line paint on the fender liner? If so, that can be taken off with a power washer, lacquer thinner (left to soak for a good while to soften it up) or a plastic scraper. Take the wheel off and jack it up for easy access. First-gen Auroras are fine looking cars.

  19. Fly? No... Superfly.
  20. It looks Malaysian.
  21. Even if they don't go through with the 5.3, it still needs a facelift to better fit with Lucerne and Enclave. And actually, the 28 mpg highway rating of the 5.3 is pretty damned good.
  22. If these ads make me bawl like a baby, I'm going to kick somebody square in the ass.
  23. Does this mean the Nissan March will be the next Aveo? Photoshop please!
  24. The Cobalt SS/SC, she's a little barnburner!
