  1. Local dealer is posting photos on their Facebook page showing the Blazer parked in different well-known locations around town, trying to drum up interest. I sat in one Sunday at that local dealer... somebody forgot to lock it... or it was on purpose and they're checking their surveillance tapes to see who tries it out.
  2. I caught that too. If the Trailblazer is built in Red China, it will go off my list so fast, heads will spin.
  3. Never seen dirt...
  4. Something else funny: olds posted his diesel powered party boat to put me in my place. Nice boat!
  5. Two massively sad photos, especially after all the glorious 1960's and even the G-body Cutlass dash photos posted in herr.
  6. Oh OK, a Buick Encore GNX with AWD and the 3.0tt? Sounds hawt. Let's perpetuate that rumor!
  7. Plus a heckuva lot more elan.
  8. Above reply is a giant box of empty. Where's the beef? There ain't none.
  9. Weird to me that they are calling the shorter (of the two small Buicks shown in China) Buick the Encore GX in America and saying it will not replace the Encore... They are doing the same with the Chevys. Both Buick and Chevrolet have shown longer versions of these with moderately different styling and entirely different names in Chevy's case (Tracker and Trailblazer).
  10. I do not care what it's called, I think it's a sweet little machine for everyday usage, with a little pizazz thrown in. I just hope they have a nicer variety of colors available v. the Blazer. Since Chevy is pitching the Blazer as "the Camaro of SUVs", I think they should have the same colors available on both vehicles. That would be a strong but subtle way to tie them together... and it might lead to households buying "his & hers" Blazer and Camaro in matching colors.
  11. I think Nissan (and Toyota) should give up on full size trucks and concentrate on what made them popular in the past... mini trucks. It is intriguing to think of a Ram midsize with Pentastar or the new inline 6 in a Nissan-shared midsize though.
  12. I like it, it is a bit "busier" in details v. the Encore though... and in photos, it looks the same size.
  13. US version of the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is pretty darn spunky looking... word is it will not replace the Trax, it is a little bigger, more modern and more expensive. About the size of my Compass, matching the new Encore GX. I am, right now, keenly innerested in learning more about the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer.
  14. Nissan's blandness, or at least the lion's share of it, rests squarely on their ridic reliance on the worst mechanical idear in recent automotive history: THE CVT. Plus, having first hand experience owning a FIAT-influenced Chrysler product, I'm not sure I like your tone, mister.
  15. I do not think most of the cars mentioned here were unpopular. Maybe the Infiniti models.
  16. Coincidentally I got passed yesterday evening (in my buggy) by a white, late model W-body Cutlass Supreme coupe. Humming along at about 75.
  17. Yes, it is easy to speculate that it is meant to stir things up... but who knows...
  18. Well, I hope this latest try works for them in the long run. I had to post the Alliance, it seems ironic, almost like a soap opera, that Chrysler and Renault might be walking down the aisle... again, after their divorce so many years ago.
  19. New Tundra = old Tundra. Meh. Plus the hybrid baloney... who cares? If you own a Tundra, you ain't no cowboy.
  20. Still see a fair number of first-gen FWD Impalas on the road. Saw one yesterday... still going, clapped out mess that it was. Armchair reactionaries can say what they will, the GM W-body served millions for many years without asking much in return.
  21. The list of failures, broken promises, etc. etc. at Tesla is EPIC. The company needed NOTHING else to fail, yet... somehow it is the president's fault.
  22. Did you unsheath your sword and avenge his transgression?
