  1. Doctor Ocn prescribes "family movie night at the Wolf house": Popcorn, kleenexes, and Beautiful Thing. If only it were that simple. I love that movie.
  2. Black Eyed Peas
  3. Julia Child
  4. IT'S ALIIIIVE! Congratulations on the new gig, B&BL. Have fun tonight. Harry: yes, someone tole me about you. Hairy Cocknick, JUNIOR is correct.

  6. I PMed Viper infrequently and I was always mindful of the vast age difference between us. I gave him my number, but did not ask for his. I haven't heard from him. He's a good kid and I sincerely hope he's getting along alright. If he's been in touch with anyone, I'd guess it would be NOS, CD/BP or Oldsmoboi.
  7. Hey man, congratulations on the new truck. I wasn't all that keen on the new-look GMC SUVs until I saw one in person. Nice!
  8. Just roll over and pinch his nip. That'll wake him up! :AH-HA_wink:

    Pictures!

Speaking of which, he's been entirely too absent from these hallways lately. Is he off somewhere squeezing through tight places, shedding his skin?

  11. Ocn said hmmmm....... "My" guy at work wants a 3 Series. What does that mean?
  12. Maybe we should get Sly some "Datsun 1010" badges for the Q.
  13. Pentagon
  14. I love the new Golf/GTI, but the Astra blows it away in terms of style. GM needs to gain their own Euro perspective here in the States.... small cars are becoming much more vitally important. A lot of customers are seeking a more premium small car. Why give up looks, features, fun-to-drive character and quality to gain the handy size and better economy of a smaller package? Mazda 3, Golf and Mini (3 sold here of many that are available in Europe) prove that a nicer small car will sell. I believe the Astra has a better chance here than any of the three I mention above.
  15. Yup, Saturn cannot be without a smaller car than Aura for even a day. The latest IONs look decent, somehow more athletic... maybe the trick of the sportier, 5 spoke wheels was all the car needed. An ION III with 2.4L should be a neat little runner, more stealthy than a Cobalt SS.
  16. That sounds cool, moltie. I've always liked bare roofs better. They're certainly longer lasting, and they don't hold moisture, which causes rust. We just got a yellow Cobalt SS/SC. Yeah yeah, I know... but this one has the Performance Package (limited slip diff and cool Recaro seats). So... all evening I daydreamed about one for myself, equipped like this: Laser Blue/all black interior... with Performance Package as the only option, and a wing-ectomy (I searched the net for a nice, flush-fitting spoiler like I saw last summer on another SS/SC).

  18. Reg, you mean you weren't transfixed by the guy's powerful glutes, loaded guns, and nice pecs? How do you think he's able to toss the chick like a kleenex?
  19. Whoa, Happy Birthday Black&Blue Landscaper. Let us know what you think of your very first taste of beer. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Sounds like a honey, XP. Is the bottom 1/3 of the bodywork gone from too many NE winters, or is it intact?
  21. I propose a group meeting. Someone rent a van and load it up with C&Gers, who would be blindfolded. Drop them off at different dealerships, open up some cars, and let them do a braille test on these interiors. THEN, we post results. The Civics I've looked at have not been perfect, certainly not in design (ugliest dash in forever), color choice (the tan is too yellow, looks crappy) or assembly (the door pull trim was not snapped together tightly and the plastic had clear mold lines and "flash" (excess plastic that squeezes out of the edge of the mold and leaves a little sharp edge that you feel every time you pull the door closed).) In my opinion, the Civic interior is off-putting and cold, whereas the G6 interior is warmer, more inviting and friendlier.
  22. Wildman... your response to #7 shows that maybe you are straight, after all, cuz you just don't understand what we're lookin' for... a 425 hp Hemi Chrysler 300-C SRT-8 would definitely get me interested in a hurry, as long as the driver fits the car. The other morning at the convenience store I saw THE stereotypical boy. He got out of a black Jetta in his long, black wool overcoat and fashionable sunglasses, hair perfectly tousled (with blond highlights), about 6'0", 145 pounds, and walked into the store like he was on the catwalk. I was like butch it up, cupcake! :AH-HA_wink:
  23. Our '73 Catalina was a 400 2 bbl.
  24. Yup, that's it. A great, eclectic mix of music right there.
  25. Yeah, I braked too late in my ION once on ice, slid into the back of an Explorer and put a nice square hole in my front bumper... shaped exactly like his hitch receiver.
