  1. What is wrong is... Mitsubishi is trying to actually survive here and actually make money in the U.S., not commit suicide, which is surely what would happen if they were to go... LOL... all electric...
  2. For my friend reg: here's my stick in all its glory. Notice, if you will, the polished knob. And yes, I know it skews a little to the left.
  3. lol the white V prevents a sale... sure...
  4. Nope sorry. MB-Tex fume syndrome is not a valid excuse for this harebrained idea.
  5. LINCOLN. No contest. When given a choice of a total maintenance nightmare v. cheap and plentiful with class... I will take the latter.
  6. Folks with second tier credit scores need a company like Mitsu. I wish them luck in their plan. Nissan is a pretty powerful overseer. Mitsu pickups sold fairly well back in the day, before the ill begotten Raider of course. A compact sedan would still sell, I believe, but it would need some of that old magic. How about an Eclipse Cross Evo? That might be cool. Turning Mitsu into an all-electric brand is a terrible idea.
  7. First tank: 362.6 miles. Took 11.385 gallons... 31.8 MPG!
  8. Thanks, Mr. dfelt!
  9. I prefer manuals to DVDs... the printed word RULES!
  10. LLLLLLIKE A GLOVE!
  11. Thanks, olds! I appreciate it! ...and Horsey!
  12. Thanks! I thought it only natural to order it in "Army Green"! First tank is ringing up at 27.5 MPG so far, but of course I will double check the DIC against actual mathematics when I fill it up. Also, I am happy to be "rowing my own" again!
  13. ...being green! This is my new toy. 2017 Jeep Compass Latitude 4X4 with 6 speed manual. Olive Green Pearl. I went out to survey the Lancaster County countryside today.

  15. I don't blame them for investigating it.
  16. If Jeep gets sold to a Chinese company I will be royally PISSED.
  17. Thanks! I'm stoked at how easy it fits in the garage. It drives very well, and I am getting used to driving a stick again pretty quickly. This thing is fun!
  18. Fantastic automobile! Congratulations on it.
  19. Thanks! I brought it home tonight. I got what I asked for in trade amount. We're having ugly weather. I will start a new thread with my traditional set of photos this weekend, hopefully, if the weather clears.
  20. Yup, it fits me very well. My name is on the MSRP label! "This vehicle specially built for ocnblu"! It came in this morning. I went over to our Jeep store at lunch time to give them some pertinent info and have them appraise my truck. I need at least $1k more than what they offered me. The Jeep looks great! I am excited! It still needs to be prepped, etc. I have an appointment tomorrow @ lunch time to do the paperwork... I really hope we can come to an agreement on trade-in value. Also, that stupid camera was out again for like 4 days, I was scared to death it would not work when they appraised it... but it is currently working..... *WHEW*
  21. This is Teutonic purity... perfection. There is no other way it could be. This is the type of car one buys to keep forever. Not trendy. Stalwart.
  22. Yeah it is pretty neat!
  23. THAT TRAILPASS COMPASS THO
