  1. Does this mean I'll be able to buy a Cactus here in the U.S.?
  2. When I first sawr the new Equinox and read of the availability of diesel, I was excited. After that pause to take it all in, however, I realize there is absolutely ZERO testosterone in this vehicle's design. By extension, the Terrain is compromised also by being so damned low-slung (a real belly-dragger), it is like they are trying to duplicate the "pregnant dachshund" look of the long wheelbase Trailblazer/Envoy of old, on a tinier scale. The Compass I just ordered for purchase has 8.2 inches of ground clearance even in the low midlevel trim I'm getting, and it does not look like it will throw sparks off the floorboards over mall speed bumps.
  3. Well, it is ordered. As shown.
  4. LOL for dfelt... With my employee discount, I can buy my above configured Compass for $24k. I am thinking srsly about it. I was all about the Trailhawk (not the Skyhawk) but really, I do not need all that. The Latitude is fine, PLUS, SIX SPEED MANUAL!
  5. New Compass "Build&Price" is up! 2017 Compass Latitude 4X4 in Olive Green Pearl, 2.4L with six speed manual, 8 way power driver's seat and optional 17" wheel design. $26,230!
  6. Fantastic looker. Ford is sadistic, showing us the 3-door when it is likely we will not be allowed to buy it in Ford's home country. A 3-cylinder engine has a nice growl to it.
  7. One of my dreams last night was this: I had taken a base model white Cummins Ram from the dealer for a test drive because everyone expected me to. During the test drive I had custom wheels and tires put on it and a lift kit, plus I had the bed taken off. Everyone thought it was cool at the mobile home service business I took it to, and I was going along with it, but then I realized I would never be able to afford it and I would need to return the truck to the dealer in stock condition... but how in the hell was I going to do that by myself within the allowed time?
  8. Autozone
  9. Corsica was borderline, or "large compact". Gorgeous hatchback bodystyle available.
  10. HAHAHA look at this adorable little dude! He's like Alvin the Chipmunk! 2017 Spark Activ Manual in Toasted Marshmallow!
  11. Cool, I was thinking about one for posting videos of scenic drives. Is it relatively shake-free?
  12. LOL, so the plan was a suicide pill? How very German of him!
  13. People with any shred of honesty, and eyesight, can see clearly what is happening. Does anyone have the fighting will to stop it? This will do one thing: fuel the collapse of the E.U. - NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY MUST BE PRESERVED!
  14. Looks... fragile. Maybe it's the lighting in the photo. Plus... GIANTEST pillar applique ever! What will the hatchback and coupe utility look like?
  15. Hmmm... OK, well thanks for the article and link. Hilarious part of the C&D article is the trashing of the new Terrain's shifter setup.
  16. Over onto the Facebook, I see a good amount of comments from Europeans who come in and say they love their Chevy and want to buy a new one when it's time.
  17. I think maybe blitzing an Opel thread with this type of trippy tangent is not advisable. On other fronts, it seems like this deal could be very close to happening. TO THE BUNKERS, I SAY!
  18. I have a feeling that whatever problems FCA has with quality, they cannot be put solely on the assembly line, more so on the engineers. I just went over to Edmunds and read owner reviews on the 2016 Renegade, for example... the level of electrical gremlins ppl are reporting with this vehicle are unreal... how is this assembly's fault, unless grounds are being improperly anchored or something simple like that? I know it's not assembled in USA, but it is perplexing.

  20. IIRC wasn't that a Mazda diesel in the Escort? How ironic that an engine that gave you 55 MPG is now in a political fight for its life.
  21. Good luck with this one, let us know how it operates out there periodically.
  22. When your tongue is no good and even toast and jelly is a chore. BLAH.
  23. Well I always got better than advertised with my Beetle TDi. I wish Chevy the very best of luck with selling these and conquesting former TDi owners.
  24. Malibu Maxx with faded headlights, painted in a cornea-searing green.
