    New Stingray!

It's like Japanese architecture, they don't have the space to build out, so they build up to get proper usable room out of a vehicle, I guess. These little guys seem to be infinitely customizable, with all the color combos and different front end trims.
  5. I do not like aluminum body panels. They tend to corrode at crimped edges and look like crap after a few years.
  6. I'm jealous you got to drive one without the begging drone of a salesperson in the passenger seat. While I'd purchase the Subaru on principle, the truth is, both of these are delicious throwbacks to a better era. I am thankful they're on the market.
  7. Great looking car, pisspoor factory drivetrain. Dwight's idear is much better, but it still has that pesky nerd electric assist crap. Lexus is not selling any of those crappy gas/electric 5-door hatch "performance" cars.
  8. Whoa I like everything about it except for the concrete wheels. I'll bet they ride pretty hard.
  9. FLAT OUT GORGEOUS. You are going to get people just randomly spreading their legs for you over this, ya know. And the fact it has a nice flat deck with no foolish appendages makes it all the more sexy...
  10. The 2013 I have in my head right now is this: Silverado W/T reg cab 4X4 shortbed LS package cloth seat... vinyl floor power windows/locks/mirrors CD player dark tint back glass Protection Package (consists of bed rail protectors and rear wheehouse liners, don't need the bed rail protectors) 5.3L/6 speed auto (would love to have a 6 speed manual...) Trailering Package (hitch, which I don't need, tranny and ps coolers and G80 locking rear end... to get the 3.73 rear end on a W/T, one HAS to order the Trailering Package. I would NOT want the 3.08 highway rear end gear which they come with otherwise!) Maroon/Dark Titanium First order of business: 265/70R17 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, black side out. Rubber bed mat (to order a bed mat through GM on a sold order, you are forced to order MORE STUFF in conjunction!). So... the truck I'd really want, I cannot have. I'd have to spend about $3k more than I would if I could spec a truck with individual options.
  11. hyper, thanks for posting! This is from back in the day when cars could be ordered to the buyer's preference, NOT the manufacturer's. I remember that silver interior, that color could also be ordered on the Corvettes. That Camaro looks really nice through the fishbowl phone pictures. Please post a couple more if you get a chance. I'd drive that on weekends in a heartbeat. Question: why do you think the silver didn't hold up well? The 50s and 60s were chock-full of metallic vinyl interiors. This is a rare color-combo Camaro with V8 and manual transmission... not a high-performance car, and as such, it should be cherished and preserved without cutting it up. How much does he want for it?
  12. Even Toyota knows electric vehicles are junk.
  13. It could very well be the starter motor, but if I were doing this on my own, I'd be borrowing a midtronics tester to check out the alternator and battery too. Not trying to second-guess anyone because I am not there.
  14. I was just thinking it could be something else also causing that problem. A lot of times if a starter is bad you'll have an intermittent normal-speed crank. If an alternator/battery are bad, you will have a slow crank to the point of nothing when the key is turned.
  15. I am SO GLAD you dint post a photo of your widdle footie pj's.
  16. Hello rp2s, that's a nice Suzuki you've got.
  17. Whoa... what a sweet crumb, that Sierra headlight...
  18. Is it possible they only separated them to mimic GMC's theme?
  19. Yup Perdue, a no-brainer on the 2-door thing.
  20. I agree with your assessment, Perdue. A shameless attempt to take more money from the customer.
  21. They're going into rental fleets here in the Good Ol' USA.
