  2. Whoa, nice additions to the thread. Cool yet painful to see the gorefest out there, with the beaten, banged-up pony cars struggling for the checkered.
  3. Gives you a goal to shoot for.
  4. This thing's gonna be a hoss.
  5. Jeez, grade-schoolers.
  6. Pardon me? I was the one that made the comment about the battery in my Patriot, not dfelt. His son has a Patriot though. Keep your antagonists straight. You chose your screen name. I was just using shorthand. And I have news for you. I'm not going anywhere. I've been hanging around this joint for nearly a decade.
  7. I'd like to see the Verano turbo get black chrome for all exterior brightwork, smoked head and taillights, and different wheels in a sport trim package... GS?
  8. SNORE. Acura used to be Legendary... now they stand for nothing but mediocrity.
  9. 97 misses my point, not a surprise. NO, you did not read it correctly. And fear is not a factor here. Never was. Electric vehicles have been tried off and on for a century and the result has been failure every time. What is there to be scared of? The scales haven't tipped in their favor just because it is 2012. When auto executives around the world only begrudgingly spend money on electric vehicle development because they KNOW they will not sell, (they're doing it to be questionably fashionable after all with huge negative return on investment), are they all wrong?
  10. I believe S-10 was available with a similar Isuzu diesel for the first one or two model years.
  11. Uh when Reuss said the business case for a new midsize truck revolved around the powertrains, it was a no-brainer for EVERYONE to think that meant availability of a diesel engine. I don't get it. The 2.5 and 3.6L gas engines are good choices AFA that goes. All that vinyl is encouraging, however.

  13. Hmmm, if they want to keep some noticeable differentiation between Verano and Regal here in The States, they should not be coming with cloth on the bigger car.
  14. Good question. They are very close in niceness. We do have a member who owns a blacked-out Regal, James Bond, right? I wonder how he likes it by now.
  15. Malapropisms are hilarious. I was watching Trailer Park Boys clips on YouTube, this one guy "Ricky" is such a goof in that department. And way back in the day we had a local guy who helped us on the farm with seasonal work. The year was 1976, and he repeatedly referred to it as America's "Bicentesticle." I was rollin'.
  16. Shoot caddy, Ruby don't owe anybody a thing. It's in very good condition for the mileage, cosmetically. Spending money on it for cosmetics might not be worth it, imho.
  17. Yes, of course it is, Dodgefan. Of course it is.
  18. EDIT: that roflmao was for 97, not Empowah.
  19. My noggin is not in my butt. What I've been reading is long term tests and real world accounts of electric cars in operation by real people, "when it comes it the electric cars", whatever that means. You're an excitable boy, aren't ya.
  20. Cool, maybe your dad will buy it from you. Or you can keep it at home in DE as a spare car for yourself. Jeez, those wheels are extreme. Perhaps a harsh wheel cleaner was used, left on too long, or whatever.
  21. Yes I am doubting the reliability of the test. Who wouldn't when they've read anything about electric cars? Get your noggin out of the sand. You show your maturity level with these red marks, too son.
  22. What are the testing conditions for that 88MPGeee though? Do you know?
  23. Kills the range though, drag racing. And air conditioning on a hot day. And heat and defrost on a cold day. And going up hill. And stop-n-go city traffic, and on and on. But we won't talk about those, will we?
  24. hysteric
  25. I decided it was high time I went camping, blast this unemployment millstone. Last time I went, I think it was with Camino. Always a great show. Looking forward to the pics.
