  1. One of those blacked-out Mopar Charger R/Ts with the narrow blue up-and-over stripe... and a cool license plate: "GAS YUMY"
  2. Cool man.
  3. That shifter is wrong wut?
  4. Honda product?
  5. Mayhaps the tree grew around it and elevated it as it grew. And thanks, Chris. I had fun in that little car right up until that moment. And today I was almost in a head-on collision in my Jeep. Some Spainish kids in a clapped-out Civic went to pass a Jeep Liberty that was turning right heading toward me on a two-lane. They pulled out blind directly into my path. I had to slam on the brakes and came within 3 feet of hitting them head-on.
  6. Hearty congratulations, Mr. dfelt! I hope it works out perfectly for you.
  7. I like Datsun, per se, but these new designs leave me offput. Starting with the Maxima and those weird lights, coupled with the undulating character line, moving to the new Versa, Altima, and now the Sentra. Even the new Pathfinder has a bit of it. I am like "meh", not pretty.
  8. Incorrigible, that's me. A dreamer. Local dealer has a Sierra 2500HD regular cab 4X4 W/T in dark blue with preferred package (foglights, chrome wheels) and all terrain tires. Power locks, but roll-up windows and a real lever for 4WD. It sits up so high on its springs, it's sexy. It made a wet spot on the front of my pants.
  9. Well hi tmp! Pictures look great, looks like a nice place to walk around and check out some eye candy. Looks like somebody made a convertible out of a '73 GTO, and are those two guys holdin' hands?
  10. greenbacks
  11. If I were able to buy a car as nice as the 300, I'd go for the 8. That Hemi is like sweet music to my car loving soul.
  12. Maybe I cannot get over my brand snobbery. But I suspect both of Hyundai's big RWD cars are not selling well.

  14. Sorry but a Hyundai Equus is a simulation of a luxury car. True luxury comes from history, of which Hyundai has none.
  15. "If You Can Read This, Turn Me Over"
  16. Jeez the train could have swerved or something to miss it...
  17. My Cruze got much better than that. The cars tested were autotragics though. My six-speed Cruze was a mileage champ, and it was a 1LT, no Eco necessary.
  18. I agree with Moltie on the wheelbase. Seeing the car in real-life profile photos, the wheelbase is clearly short for the body length. Its overall length is tacked onto the platform. How can that be good for stability, let alone eye-pleasing proportions? I'd rather have a Chrysler 300C V8 and save $20k... or if I wanted to spend close to $60k like a loaded XTS, I could have a truly hot 300C SRT-8!
  19. Wesson
  20. Any 2-door vehicle that hits the market is alright in my book. I like the looks of the Evoque, and I think I'm gonna like the Paceman Coupe as well.
  21. I think I'm finally going to treat myself to that new Cayman I've been wanting since they came out. But I'm "between jobs" so it'll have to be the Matchbox version. I'm sure I can still make vroom vroom and squealing tire noises like I did as a kid, so, it'll be real to me, dammit.
