  1. Lookin' good, Dee Eff.
  2. How much would it cost to reinstall the tooling for the T-body Chevette?
  3. A friend I had a powerful crush on in the early 90's put a Pontiac 350 in his '84 Trans Am... it took a lot of butchering to make it eventually happen, as the Pontiac V8 is considerably larger than a smallblock.
  4. Um OK it's Jesus standing in front of a hay stack *puts on glasses* O...M...G...!!!!!
  5. Is yours chip-free then? Lucky boy!
  6. ...aaaaand thanks again for all the well wishes, folks! It was a quiet birthday. No drinking, no womanizing, no fast driving. Hmmm... come to think of it, it was not much fun atall! I gotta get out more.:AH-HA_wink: PCS, is he looking for the oil spigot? Bob, sure, I'll take ya, but you gotta buy. And B&BL, sure, let me know. Sixty8, you know I appreciate those spunky little 'Vairs!

  8. "Railroad tracks, and woods... and LOOK! A we todd in the rear view mirror!"
  9. She's a beaut, GMTG74. Thank ya, sir!
  10. Well would you look at that. I appreciate the kindness, everybody. Just got home from a bloatworthy buffet dinner... free for B-day boys and girls.
  11. *fondles keyless remote*
  12. exclamation point.
  13. Sixty8, beauty is in the details. That's a cool shot, sir. And Mr. Swordfish, thanks for posting those beautiful little Chevys. You're right, GM really produced a masterpiece in the second-gen Corvair, it looks great from any angle. I regret selling mine, but I had no place to keep it out of the weather, and I didn't want to watch it deteriorate before my eyes after putting so much money into making it look good, so I sadly let it go. Mine had 94k original miles, a dark green Monza coupe with fawn interior.
  14. "That think is HIDEOUS!" <=== practicing your German accent? You sound a li'l bit like Sergeant Schultz from Hogan's Heroes. But I agree with you, der Croc... UG LEE it is.
  15. Just put on your brightest yellow jacket when you go in there. While they are scrambling around for their sunglasses, grab the keys to the 'Bird and fly.

    Uggggggg

I hope things are smoother today, Saturnfan the post whore. Tell us again, what is sodomy?
  17. GMTG74, stick to your guns, if you want a Pontiac, buy one. The only Vibe that looks good to me is the GT because of the rims, fascias, and interior upgrades. That would be the one I'd get.
  18. I like the '73, too, and the '76-'77. I remember the shock of the smaller, boxy '78 when they first came out, and thinking they cut off all the style and left a box. Now I look back on them more fondly and wouldn't mind owning a '78-'87 with a V8, equipped as I described above.
  19. CPF has a chrome dome. He sort of reminds me of a crash test dummy.

  21. I chose Vibe because you have a family. If you were single, I'd choose G5.
  22. Picture of a '59 El Camino, shown from the rear, fins flapping as if wings, flying out of sight into the clouds. Ah, another dream taking flight, never to be seen again. Oh you said positive. Hmmm..... Croc, you really think Camino wants the same pic in his sig that you have ironed onto your school backpack? I mean get real, son.
  23. Pontiac had the best looking dashboard of all the '78-'88 G-bodies. While the 2+2 is an interesting car, I always thought they looked a bit awkward, and they were not blessed with the H.O. version of the 305, like the MC/SS had. I prefer a normal Grand Prix from this era... with the Rallye II rims pictured, or the classic snowflake aluminum rims, and no vinyl top.
  24. Mount Vernon
  25. My '65 Corvair had belts.
