    Nick!

You have my permission to have a small sip of beer to celebrate with your bros. Ask your dad if it's ok first, though.

  3. Good Lord, doesn't anyone make full body condoms for golf carts? :AH-HA_wink: I have seen an '06 Prius pigsty. It has some sort of damage on every exterior panel. The back seat is folded down, and the whole load area is stacked with unimaginable crap up to the beltline. There is a small, semi-clear area to sit to drive it, but the floor underfoot is about an inch deep with crumbs, dirt, spilled stuff, feathers, etc., and the driver's seat, which used to be tan, is stained with something I don't even want to guess. But according to the mileage display, it still gets 42 mpg. Oh boy.

Well, of course nothing tops a frank-n-beans, :AH-HA_wink: but if you're a YouTube user, you'll see a lot of familiar faces in this vid.

    Yup, I love it too.
  8. Red Metro Convertible, top down. Majestic.
  9. AFAIK, my Legos still exist. They are in a spare room down in Maryland at the farmhouse. My Legos pre-date the handy plastic tub container... they came in a cardboard box with a simple flap on top, no way to keep them from spilling if the box got tipped. I used to love to build houses with those and Lincoln Logs.

  11. Finally, a blue Astra 3-door at the local dealer. The best color I've seen on the car. Last week it was parked in the "sold" spot inside the showroom. Yesterday evening, it was back outside on the line with the rest of the unsold Astras. And they're still tacking on a $300 wax job and $125 tape stripes as ADM on all their Astras. Shameful on a car that is clearly not moving.
  12. Oh look, a big ol' fat banana yellow '69 Firebird parked next to it. Nice cruiser, XP. I'll be waiting for more pictures.
  13. Happy Birthday, you guys.
  14. No clue. Ocean City didn't really work for me at breaking my winter blues. Today, a cookout at Dad's house, otherwise, zero. Spending over $90 to fill up my tank kind of puts a damper on my wanderlust. I am even thinking of giving up on camping this season, as it's a two-hour ride away. I'm just totally tired of going through life alone while pining after a person for five long years. I quit my gym routine. I used to go 4-5 times a week, now I might go once in a week and a half. Blah... and I have a stupid sinus infection.
  15. New Morono (sp?) with green "E" sticker. New Pilot at the Honda dealer. I don't like the way it looks at me.
  16. $90.75 to fill up the Sierra from empty this evening. Sheer criminality.

  19. I pulled several shrubs out of my yard with my Colorado. What you need is a tow strap, something that is flexible. It will help put more force on the bushes, while putting less force on your Torrent. And start out with some slack, not a taught strap. Just pull or back away and kind of "snap" it out of the ground. Dig out a bit around your bushes first and they should come out nice for you. Chewing tobacco and spittin' it out the window of your Torrent while doing this will enhance the experience.

  21. I wish you many happy miles in your new Pontiac, vonVee. Dodgefan, jealousy is not pretty, son.
  22. "Global Warming" is simply a Crock of $h!. Even if it weren't, we, as mere humans, cannot do anything about it, we're too small. That's not to say I will throw out my compact florescents, or my reusable grocery bags, it just means I am not going to regress to the ways of the Amish to please some wingnut who is jumping on the latest Chicken Little bandwagon.
  23. What's really nice about this Saturn failure is, with all their models nothing more than rebadged Opels, there is less of a negative impact on GM as a whole when they decide to dump the brand, as Opels can continue to be sold successfully, apparently, in Europe. No harm, no foul. I have nothing against GME developing certain platforms to be sold here and around the world, as with Holden and their excellent RWD platform, and other "Homerooms" around the world. I just want chassis tuning, minor differences in drivetrains, sheetmetal and interiors to match the brand DNA it's being sold under. A Chevrolet is a Chevrolet, a Pontiac a Pontiac, and so on.
  24. I was hoping this was another thread about that small Russian helicopter that crashed recently.
