All I want for Christmas is...
A set of CV8R wheels for the Goat... But that isn't gonna happen... Hey, I can dream, right?

Thoughts?
The yellow-orange is the best.

Autoweek Reviews the Outlook...
The Chevy is either a late '08 or '09 model (I don't remember).

Autoweek Reviews the Outlook...
No one is going to be driving these things around the test track; these are family vehicles. They need to drive and handle well while running errands and ride well on the highway. The fuel mileage was very good! That's 50% better than what the GTO gets! Sounds like the Enclave will be spectacular! Unless the new Pilot is better than the MDX, the Outlook should be superior. $44k is rather pricey for a Saturn, but I doubt that many buyers will go to the loaded-to-the-gills versions. What does this mean for the Enclave though? $50k loaded?

First Pic (I think) of Outlook Without Nav
That looks very nice for the XE. I think it would look great with "metal" instead of the wood trim as someone mentioned was available on the XE.

Camaro at NAIAS Confirmed
It could be listed as "production" because it's already been given the greenlight and we know it's going into production, but I doubt it's going to be production-spec. We shall see though.

Lutz Responds to GM Minivan Debacle
GM can market the Lambdas to minivan buyers: "The look of an SUV, the ride of a car, and the functionality of a minivan allow for great looks, great handling, and superb entry-and-egress." If an engineering major can come up with something like that of the top of his head, I'm sure the marketing folks can do something thoroughly convincing. Plus, how many people would really rather have a crossover than a minivan? How many people buy minivans because the entry/egress isn't as easy in SUVs/crossovers? If the Lambdas are as functional as minivans, I see no reason why they won't steal sales.

List of NAIAS Debuts [updated Dec. 10]
Wow, the H4 is on that list too.

Saturn Astra to Launch in Late-07
Looks good. Now here's hoping that they keep the price in check and bring over the performance model too.

Has anyone ever seen this Hummer concept before?
Franz von Holzhausen designed both the Solstice and Sky (and is now at Mazda).

Solstice the worst?
The cell phone thing is silly. I probably only take mine out of my pocket half the time I'm driving, and the other half I forget to take it out. Plus, if you're driving you're not really supposed to need your cell phone to talk on, right? The cupholder thing is slightly more of an issue, but the only times I ever drink in the car is if I just got done playing basketball and need a drink or one of the few occasions I've eaten in the car.

Lexus IS-F
What's the point of the Lexus F's other than being performance cars? If they're not going to be all-out performance models, why not just call it the IS500?
-
Lexus IS-F
And this means Lexus doesn't need to offer a manual because...? This is true I guess, but what about all those people who simply won't buy an automatic transmission? I, for one, would not have an automatic if I had the choice.

PS3/Wii: Anyone getting one or know someone who is
http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com/ I was playing my friend's Wii a couple days ago and this happened to me. Luckily the controller just hit the wall and nothing was damaged, but there have been a lot of TV's ruined because of the very weak string connecting the Wii to the wristband.

Attn: Bean Counters At GM!
I think it's pretty clear that the domestics are catching up in quality. Does this really belong in C&G Feature Articles? It's a garage blog article... unless you put it here for bean counters to see?
-
Lexus IS-F
Those tailpipes are weird. Lexus is going to have to learn that in order to satisfy performance enthusiasts they need to offer a manual transmission, and the IS-F is automatic-only.

Ward's Ten Best Engines for 2007
About 35k Corvettes are made per year. I don't think they sell that many Z4s per year and it's on the list. The LS2 is also in the CTS-V and TB SS.

Ward's Ten Best Engines for 2007
I haven't driven one, but the power is not that impressive considering it's brand new and I haven't being hearing seeing many reviews that rave over it. If it really is that good, then good for Ford, but I have a hard time believing it seeing the stats and lack of rave reviews.

FIRST LOOK: 2008 Buick Enclave
The press release says it can seat 7 or 8 passengers, so I'm guessing the captain's chairs are optional with a standard bench.

Ward's Ten Best Engines for 2007
How does the Hemi beat the LS2? Oh right, the name is more famous. The Mustang engine and Duratec 35 are also questionable.

I have a Physics final tonight (which I'm not too concerned about since it's a 1hr intro course). Think I could get some extra credit if I brought this is?

Lexus Gets "F"-ed
