    I saw...

Bill Clinton drove by in his limo when I was at Arlington on either Veteran's Day or Memorial Day years ago... My dad's former Vietnam captain is Barry McCaffrey (who was a four star General during the Gulf War and The Drug Czar during Clinton's 2nd Term). Around the time when he was entitled that title he started some bi-yearly renunions from his troop. Anyway.. on to the point the familys were also invited, the reunions were on a Veteran's or Memorial Day weekend and one of the sites of interest was viewing the Presidential Speech at Arlington so that'd be the 2nd time I saw Clinton and well also met Bary McCaffrey. One thing that was really unique that trip was all the secret service around us all the time.
  2. I'll add Monty Python and the Holy Grail I can't belive I forgot about that.. also Stewie: The Untold Story if we're going with movies that were never in the theater.. As for Doom.. I was kinda disapointed for somone who has played all the doom games fully. The movie reminded me a cross between Resident Evil and Alien movies. Other Movies that just came to mind: Fight Club Saving Private Ryan Enemy Behind the Gates Pitch Black Underworld
  3. In the route of the folder there's two mov files of an "earthquake" http://www.lizhickok.com/assets/portfolio/images/
  4. Well this is what it looks like as of now <_< A few power outs too and has been flickering ever since. Driving sucks.. turns aren't that bad but stopping is non existant so I was going at most 20mph...
  5. Looking into a perspective on things from this concept that will likely make it to production in some form: -The front facia is HOT.. can't wait for the GT, GTP or GXP model (wich ever one it's going to be on) -The hard top looks alkward to me for some reason.. it looks a bit bublely (granted that gives more head room, it just doesn't flow with the rest of the car) -Wheels, Very HOT Looking at some things that I see will probly won't make it to production: :metal:  GM.. Why do you torment us showing the ultimate powertrain in this with no intention to produce it?!!! <_<
  6. This weeks newspaper ad had a 2005 Chevy Cobalt spes with a picture of an Aveo and a 2006 Impala with the a pic of the '05 model (I wasn't supprised on that one)
  7. Spaceballs The Matrix (mainly the 1st and 2nd)
  8. Better you than me... :P j/k I was worried about getting snow but instead it's been a heavy down poor all day so there's a flood watch in effect for my area. But the way things are looking, in addition to the flood watch.. there's a snow storm that supposed to hit some time this afternoon <_< And I still have my summer low profile tires on...
  9. I'm telling you guys.. the Monte's rear end SHOULD be what the DTS got (just move the license plate are above the bumper and maybe widen the taillights a bit)
  10. Note that I'm making these gripes from looking at the pictures and have yet to see one in person but I'll say the otherwise. I still think the rear TB SS looks odd ...not having duel exhaust... the other day i saw an TB that had a custom exhaust job (not sure if it was true or split duel). Few other things that bother me is that the exhaust tip looks pretty cheap, especially with it sitting next to the saab. the other gripe of mine is the trailer hitch, it's supposed to be a "sport truck".. at least make it an option or use a cover to hide it. It's not like someone is going to go 90mph or so with a trailer attached... That all being said.. I think the front end and wheels looks hot..
  11. I wasn't a member then but I think I had joined around that time
  12. I'm the opposite on that.. especially with Headers, cam, and exhaust... Music to my ears I do aggree with that.. however I may be biased since my 3100 V6 Achieva has a pair of Flowmasters on it (I may not be a V8, nor sound like one but I love it) B) Sound Clip I recorded... Click download at the botom of the page and agree on the next A few months ago I heard a 300ZX and loved the sound of it.. RPMs didn't get too high so there's a possibility that I could change my mind. Pretty much I love the sound of any GM, Mopar, or Ford V8 A few 4 bangers such as WRX STI's and SRT-4's.. haven't heard a Cobalt SS yet
  13. I'm about to order some Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 tires along with some cheep steels since my old steels are bent to hell. Kind of a last minute thing since there's a snow storm advisory out for tonight (7in in high elevations) and I still have my low profile summer tires and 17" Rims on.
  14.
  15. I could be wrong... but I think that FWD vehicles get a bit better gas milage compared to RWD vehicles... not sure why but that's just what I've heard. As for what I would improve upon.. I'm with most of the arguments mentioned already. Improve the interior (throw in a 6 speed). More aggessive Exterior, as it stands now I think a Saturn is more aggessive looking than a Pontiac  , not saying the Pontiac doesn't look good... it certainly does and very eye catching... just could be better. That's all I can think of now...

    GMC Acadia

How is the headlight design? More inlines of the Yukon or Graphyte or neither?
  17. One point of my life I will own a last gen Eldorado... I really wish they had given it a sight facelift inlines of the last gen Seville but I think it still looks good as it was.
  18. CLICK for a How To BV, I'm not sure if you can do that on the 92-98 models but if you can remember to put some red bulb in after whether they be LED or just regular other wise your car will not be legal after. My thoughts personally, I don't hate them but if I had a Grand Am I would either leave them stock or tint them black and throw some LED bulb in ther so they have a brighter output through the tint (I'd love to do that to my current taillights actualy just don't have the time).
  19. Probly not because that goes in the same argument about the Grand Prix coupe... I'd love to see one but I think GM is leaving the Monte Carlo and the G6 as the only fwd mid size coupes to offer so sales don't get too spread out on other models.
  20. I hope for the best.. some friends of my parents live in Melborne

    Soooo damn sick!

Woke up today with a sore throat that's been bothering me all day... I've been sucking down the orange juice as if my life depended on it
  22. Let's see.. I drove my mom's 88 Lebaron in High School. Got my 97 Achieva a little before graduation in 02 and have been driving it since. I'm not planning on getting a new car till I finish college (whenever that may be) so unless my car dies.. I'm just gonna run it to the ground. Though, being the car fanetic I am, I'm guilty of specing out all sorts of vehicles and drolling over some purchases. Like a month ago I was really considering a 94 Z28 that had a $3k price tag on it.. thankfully I didn't get it because it's still on the lot with a bra on it (to cover up the paint chiping/wear) and down to $2.5k
  23. I saw one on the road here in the north east a few weeks ago.. It definately a looker, not a good idea to see one for the first time when you're driving.
  24. I'm gonna have to aggree with him... I'm big fans of the S4 and S6 (LOVE and miss the RS6) but this one turned to a sports sedan is a bit odd IMO... What's next BMW M7?
  25. My dad owned a 94 Park Ave (and still does, my mom drives it now with 280K+ Miles). He loved it so much he was checking out newer models. We were looking at a Silver 2001 Ultra with portholes installed on it (I must say it looked damn sharp). The killer was the $17k price tag.. We probly could have talked them down to $15k but my dad wasn't looking at spending that much. He likes his Impala but misses the roomy interior and smooth ride of the Buick.
