  1. Depends if you're in the World Series right now or not.
  2. This. While I didn't mind the LXes (mainly the Charger and ALL of the SRT8 versions), they weren't meant to be the volume line or the best sellers. Yet, because of what came out below them, they ended up that way. Not having a C-car with broader appeal really hurt Chrysler too. As many Calibers as I see on the road, I know just as many people who would never have considered buying one.
  3. I think about 15% of my HS marching band at any given point was named Jennifer.
  4. Apparently, neither is Japanese.
  5. That's "harakiri," Börger...
  6. ... and by far the heaviest. It'd be Zeta again, but pulling instead of pushing.
  7. Sounds like Audi's plan... which doesn't seem half bad. On their entry/smaller cars, the base engine has always been a turbo-4. They're using a turbo-4 for the TTS that makes the same power as the 3.2... with less weight. And I remember reading that the upcoming S4 will be using a blown 6 instead of the customary V8... a little less power but significantly less weight. Really, I would even be cool if the entry Caddy's engine didn't make 300 HP... why not have two engine output levels? 250 and 300... and if they wanted to, premium-tune the NA HF3.6 for maybe 340 HP. Sort of an intermediate between the highest RTS and the RTS-V, which is something I feel the CTS could use in the future as well. As you wish.
  8. Not necessarily about the car itself, per se, but when I took the Cruise Missile (Bonneville) for an oil change, I told the shop manager that I got rid of the Pathfinder due to gas issues. He told me that I probably wouldn't see better in the Bonneville. Mind you, I average 7 MPG higher than the Pathfinder's HWY rating...

    Hello.

    ^ | | | SPOOF ALERT! Can we get some or ?
  10. Dwight, this is impressive. Did you come up with this, or do you know a guy?
  11. First you say that they need to make the car lighter than 3300, then you say that they need a V8. Keep in mind that EVERY car that you listed up there is 3600+ lbs. Hard to contradict yourself that much, but you find a way every time, it seems... How about you complain that, out of all the high-powered enthusiast-oriented small luxury sedans, the IS-F and C63 don't offer a manual? Or the C63 driver's seat only moves 6 ways? Or that the RS4 is (was) on a FWD platform? Or the M3 has iDrive... nuff said? Just about every post you make is out to point out the deficiencies of a GM product (and this one doesn't even exist yet!) while you make it seem like Audi, BMW, MB, and Lexus have rose-smelling flatulence. And you wonder why so very few people take your opinions seriously...
  12. If LY doesn't come out and they have to soldier on with LX, bye-bye 6A transmissions. Chrysler doesn't have a 6A transmission for longitudinal duty anywhere in their company, probably because it won't fit the platforms. So GM's 6A RWD trannies probably won't fit either.
  13. Z, I hope you're right and Edmunds is (again) wrong. A new G8 is still on my shortlist for a new car in a few years.
  14. RTS? When did this name come up? Also, won't it be strange that all variants of the CTS (save for the V) can run on regular, but the RTS will be premium-recommended? Otherwise, it's cool with me. Force-fed 6 making 460 horses. Now we're getting into Porsche territory.
  15. 'Tis all good. You know I had to defend myself.
  16. No, Reg, nothing came of it. The woman I married is not from within my family.
  17. Something like this happened to me when I was in 10th grade. It was during marching band season, and a friend of mine on the color guard (flag team) told me that she had found someone to hook me up with. Me not having a GF, I was like "sure, we'll see." The following week she said she had called off her endeavor. Also, I found out who the girl was that she was trying to hook me up with. It was my cousin.
  18. Sad that as many nosy people there are, especially in/near big cities, there seem to be just as many that would happen across someone being mistreated and not give a crap. Camino, funny story though.
  19. The Chevy dealer near me apparently took delivery of quite a few Traverses, as there are 4 of them in front of the lot.
  20. Yeah, and due to how deeply ingrained the system is down here, it would take DECADES to revamp the system.
  21. Maybe they don't realize the GTI is pretty much a hopped-up Rabbit. I see plenty of GTIs out there, sometimes more so than Rabbits.
  22. I'm trying to remember the last time we actually had a STRONG race... when we had to think to vote for the best person instead of voting for one because we hate the other. However, the Iraq War issue always tends to sway me.
  23. There are other news stations than Fox, y'know...
  24. I go Obama. Mainly because of his economic policy as well as a desire to pull our troops out of the wrong country. McCain, for lack of any viable policies himself, has resorted to merely attacking Obama while reiterating Obama's statements as his own (see today's Washington Post). Plus, his running mate is enough to erase any desire to vote for him. Mind you, although this will only my second time voting, I don't vote parties. Just who I deem to be clearly the best person for the job. Case in point: it'd be a MUCH harder choice for me if Huckabee had won the GOP nomination.
