That's interesting you say that... although not a W-body, my mother's car, a 92 LeSabre Limited, has been having intermittent problems for years now... where the remote does the EXACT same thing as you described. It's really frustrating. What will really piss me off is when you can't unlock the doors, but you can open the trunk via remote (even if you hit the door button first). And then minutes later, it works.

Well... on Long Island, the LIE speed limit is 55mph max. The minimum is 40. You won't get a ticket for doing 40 on the LIE. It's dangerous because many choose to go well above the 55mph speed limit. I normally drive 70 on the LIE.

I was so sorry to see the Phaeton go... I thought it was an incredible car... would buy one in a second if I had the money. There were so many features it had that I would want in a luxury car, it had the power, it wasn't bad-looking... I guess people weren't ready to look at VW as a luxury make. I doubt they changed it--it's prob just the camo. I mean, it gives the appearance of a little more of an aggressive look, but again I doubt it. I'd love some interior tweaks to the LaCrosse, and even a minor tweak here or there to the Lucerne, but I know not to hold my breath.

Well, we saw the other spy photo that showed there would be ventiports. Since they're just add-ons, I imagine they just didn't stick them on this one.

I don't think they'll change the LaCrosse's headlamps being that they stated they're not changing the hoods, and the hood of the LaCrosse has creases for the headlamps. Would be nice if they updated the headlights. I hope they at least tweak the center stack a bit.

Now why don't we have some of this product here?
