  1. I wouldn't recommend it.. If I was a bazillionaire, I would definitely have my own G5 with pilot..
  2. I assume also they have been doing some development work already on it... since the time of the concept or so...
  3. Maybe a 340, but certainly not a Hemi. Plus you would have a 36 year old car. This is a modern car suitable for daily driving..
  4. It looks wider also, and the body doesn't tuck onder nearly as much as the old one..not to mention the modern sized wheels and tires. The hood is shorter, A-pillars thicker, etc. It's retro yet modern and distinctive... in Hemi orange, it will really stand out amidst the sea of ordinary cars on a typical freeway or street. Like them or not, the recent Dodge and Chrysler RWD models all stand out as unique and distinct, something that can't be said for GM's bland FWD models, IMHO...
  5. Since the GTO is out-of-production, they don't need anything to combat it. But the Challenger Hemi will fill that role nicely..
  6. The TL is one of the few FWD cars that I really like and would actually buy..I've test driven them a couple times, would make a great daily driver..I like the exterior styling (esp. in dark gray or dark blue), the interior design, and the availability of a manual transmission.
  7. The Compass seems pointless to me..the Liberty is fine for an entry-level Jeep, IMHO. The Compass exterior is ugly and the interior is cheap and nasty (unfortunately, that seems to be the trend with all recent Jeeps...)
  8. Well, remember, this is GM..not Toyota..
  9. Excellent.
  10. ? Nothing wrong with offering upgrades...an economy car doesn't have to be a bare-bones penality box...
  11. Has their been another previously?
  12. The air bag panels look loose in that old Lumina
  13. The styling looks a lot better than the current Vue, IMHO...the original Vue was ok, but they seriously uglified it with the current nose..
  14. I think of Corollas, Camrys, and Subaru Outbacks..dark green is a very popular color around here for some reason on those 3 models...
  15. Check ebay or 1stop diecast (they are my vendor of choice for Johnny Lightnings, and I know they carry the Jada diecast). www.1stopdiecast.com
  16. Looking at the gas prices, I kind of wish I still had my dad's diesel Escort that I drove 20 years ago in HS.. 55 mpg on the highway. But then I remember it had vinyl seats, am radio, no a/c..
  17. It will be nice to see all 3 on the market....I'm a big fan of the Mustang, looking forward to the Camaro (glad they went with the '69 cues, since the '69 was the best looking of the older Camaros, IMHO), and am also looking forward to the Challenger (my favorite 1970 design). All are retro yet modern..
  18. 2007...Autoweek has it now. Looks good..
  19. Will Ferrell in any Colin Ferrell role..
  20. I liked bright red as a teenager (which is why my '87 Mustang is bright red), but now prefer silver, dark gray, dark green, dark blue. I like the look of black but wouldn't want to deal with the upkeep. Dark blue is hard enough to deal with..
  21. I wouldn't recommend flipping off a Prius driver in LA..you never know, they might be enviro-gang bangas and they might bust some caps in yo azz...
  22. Oil closed at almost $77/barrel today..I wonder when it will shoot to $100/barrel.
  23. Oil caused the corrosion? I would assume salt in the air (near the Arctic Sea?) could be part of the cause...
  24. What's funny is my V8 Mustang gets better mileage (25 hwy) than my 6-cyl Jeep (18 hwy).
  25. BP has been in the US for quite a while...they also bought Sohio (Standard Oil of Ohio) about 15 years ago, IIRC...I remember when they set up offices in Cleveland when I was living in the area..
