  1. This image reminds me of the '68 full size Buick Wildcat front and rear ends..
  2. I enjoy real induction and exhaust noises in a performance car. Not fake, but not in a daily driver. It's all about context...
  3. Same here. I want a very quiet serene cabin w/ minimal road noise and minimal or no engine noise. I want to listen to my music w/ clarity, whether it's classical, classic rock, new wave, jazz, synthwave, etc.. One area of cabin noise that automakers could improve on is the HVAC system....hate the noise of the fan when the A/C or heat is cranked up.
  4. Yes, I could see that as an option...lots of customizability is a good thing. I loathe the look of carbon fiber, but I know some would like it. If I had a C8, I'd want that brown/bronze w/ a tan interior, monochromatic exterior trim. Or the dark green w/ a tan interior. I like subtle dark colors, not Skittles colors.
  5. I wonder if the convertible will be available w/ the roof and roof cover pods in body color. Would look better than the black w/ some colors, IMO.
  6. I wonder what percentage of Corvette buyers order one vs buy from dealer stock.
  7. When the CUV craze dies out, will buyers want sedans again? I think the Asian brands are smart in not abandoning the segment.
  8. Corporate incompetence, I'd assume.
  9. I think so..same wheelbase..probably the same dirty bits, different 'top hat'... odd to group them, though.
  10. I saw a new Regal at the grocery this morning...was about 75 feet away, w/ the lights on. At first I thought it was a BMW 3/4 hatchback from that distance in the early morning gloom...gray, with a round badge and those taillights..
  11. Well, that is 27 years...getting pretty old and into classic/collector car territory and outside of typical used cars before that...a typical used car buyer probably isn't going to be looking at models that old. There are specialist sites/price guides for older models.
  12. I'm in love w/ their wagons...their sedans are really nice also, IMO. Don't know how they drive, but I love the interior and exterior styling.
  13. While sitting at a light I saw this clean '66 Ford F100 at a gas station..just out of the picture to the left behind a bus stop was a turquoise '66 Mustang convertible and a primered 1950-ish Chevy panel truck. Also saw a clean white w/ white interior '74 Pontiac Grand Ville convertible in traffic, rolling top down on this unseasonable 90 degree afternoon...
  14. It is sad there is no Impala again...maybe it will come back someday, one of Chevy's most iconic names--in 20 years no one will remember the current generic FWD CUVs...
  15. www.chevrolet.com. Have to click on each model, some have 2019 only (like the discontinued Impala), some have 2019 and 2020 (Malibu).
  16. Out and about this afternoon saw a matte black '55 Chevy Bel Air ht street machine..no front bumper, wide rear tires, on Centerlines, a sharp dark blue '69/70 Grand Prix, a clean early 70s bright red Camaro, and a clean gold early 80s Sedan de Ville. Some of the '66-67s were built w/ a fiberglass hood w/ scoop. Saw one at Barrett-Jackson auction a few years ago in Scottsdale. Here's a '67:
  17. Enclave
  18. Hmmm. Italian and electric. Not a good combination. Hopefully will come with an on-board fire suppression system.
  19. Yeah, I couldn't imagine not having heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated mirrors here in NE Ohio in the winter. I like the dual zone climate control, though I have only used remote start once in my Jeep.
  20. Sharp..I really like these, seen a few around..esp. like the dark red and brown ones.
  21. I can't imagine there being anyone actually caring enough to do that..it's just a lease appliance. And 10 hp/19 ft-lbs isn't that much of a difference.
  22. Probably because the related Infiniti QX80 gets the 400hp V8. Keep a little exclusivity for the premium brand..
  23. The pack is doing well... Zo is doing fine, he is on 4 different medications daily for an enlarged heart and spleen issue. But eating well and lots of energy for a 13 yr old. Here's a recent pic of the pack exiled to the back patio while I was cleaning the living room...
  24. Thought it was pseudo-Mafioso slang like 'goombah'..
  25. Robert 'RJ' Scaringe, Rivian founder.
